Alexis has been great with customer service needs that we had as well. We are liking State Farm in that we can pay the premiums monthly WITHOUT an additional service fee for paying that way. When we switched to State Farm, by insuring both our home and auto together, we saved about $400 annually over the last company. Of course, a claim situation is the ultimate test of an insurance company. Hopefully, we won't need that service for a long time or ever. As of right now, am satisfied with the service we have received from this agency.

I called Monday (holiday) and finally reached someone, but I was told we did not have a debit card with this name and SSN. I was advised to contact the bank. I called my branch on Tuesday when they reopened and the card was canceled and a new one was ordered. I had to worry for 3 days that someone would find and use the card. In comparison, I called my credit card bank, and the matter was handled in 5 minutes and one phone call.

When we arrived, we were directed to Caleb, who was unprepared for our visit and then unhelpful, directing us to call the SF 1-800 customer care number, and at the close unprofessional, speaking poorly of another SF agent. Later, after 10 minutes on the phone with SF customer care, we discovered the information Caleb gave us was inaccurate and could have been resolved in less than 30 seconds on the website instead of wasting my time for an in-person visit and lengthy customer service call. 2 stars instead of 1 for prompt (non-) service.
