Oh, the Triberg Waterfalls. You claim to be the highest in Germany, but you are really only the 2nd highest. That's okay, we'll let you lie. You are awfully pretty. And you were only 3.5 euros each to see, so that's pretty reasonable. Plenty of parking nearby for our car. A ridiculous number of stores to spend money in on the walk up. And a walk it is! I think we walked off the morning's bratwurst in Baden-Baden plus the cake we had on the way back down.
This isn't a full day adventure. We probably spent 90 minutes total in Triberg...probably would have been shorter if I wasn't such a slow walker. I'd recommend parking at the base of the waterfall, walking up to the kiosk to buy your tickets & tour, before walking down to town to sightsee. Then send your husband to get the car and pick you up so that you don't have to walk back up to the parking lot. read more
