When my mother was paying for the services there was definitely added charges to the billing. She paid what they asked anyway. She had continued to also plan and pay for her services for when the time came. When she did pass July 2018, we had her services at Flynn's funeral home. As stated she paid ahead of time and there wasn't much we had to pay for at the time of her services. I can say they were not as attentive to our needs this time around. My sisters and I felt like we didn't have direction during her services. When we had the graveside services a few days later, there was nothing set up. We had to call to have the flowers and funeral directors to come. 6 months later her date is not present on the headstone either. I believe the difference was they were paid ahead of time. They didn't need to try to please us anymore.

I was actually really impressed with this Funeral home and the professional appearance of the family that ran it. I am pretty sure they knew my Grandparents and went to church with them. I am guessing that the building was a converted house from a long time ago as it felt more like a home than a business and you were there for an event rather than something sad.
