The War Memorial Gardens in Kirkcaldy provide a touching tribute to those who fought and died in the World Wars. The gardens are well kept and whenever I have walked through them, people are always enjoying a troll through me to escape the noisy high street.
However, it is when you get to the Memorial that you are struck by your surroundings. It is the amount of names on the walls of those who have fallen in both world wars that shocks you. The gardens also have a library and art gallery behind the war memorial which is in constant use. read more
