And for $7.50, I consider it a steal not to have cakey, aluminum-riddled deodorant grace my temple. Plus it *works*. I was already nervous about the outcome of the sari but Roohi assured me that it will turn out beautiful. She even had extra material laying around in her basement (where she works) that she would use to make the sleeves of the blouse. I thought she would do a great job and believed in her. Anyways, two days ago (one week away from the wedding), I texted her just to remind her that I will be picking up my sari in a few days. I was nervous about the outcome from the beginning but after meeting her in person, I was looking forward to wearing this sari and trusted her (even though I asked her for an earlier pick up time since I live 1.5 hours away and would like to have enough time to prepare for any unforeseen circumstances but she instantly refused to get it ready a week early). If I had it my way, I would have had an extra week to plan for the upcoming wedding but now I have no time and I'm under a lot of stress. She said she would give me a full refund (which I have to drive 1.5 hours for all the way to Bethesda) and even said she has another red sari that she can get ready in only 4 days but I do not trust her.
