By far, it's one of the best, biggest motorcycle dealerships I've been to! They have the biggest inventory/selection of motorcycle! Even the pre-owned motorcycles look new!! I feel like they wouldn't take bikes that are not for their standard, and probably after thorough inspection. it make me comfortable to get a pre-owned bike from them. Again,Their standards are very high! Very very important, especially when you trust motorcycle to be safe when you ride it and if your life is important for you. Riding from Cleveland to start the Mid Atlantic Backcountry Discovery Route (MABDR), I called ahead to have Kissell do a quick installation of a specific part I requested. I arrived at the expected time and enjoyed walking around the showroom and even had a great conversation with another customer while I waited. When the job was done I noticed the incorrect part was installed. Kissell was quick to acknowledge they mislabeled the part and did not have the specific part I was looking for. Kissell also realized my predicament in the fact that I was literally enroute to begin the MABDR the next morning. My wife picked up a used bike from this dealer a couple weeks ago. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and overall their customer service was great. They answered all of our questions on the phone and were very nice about it. We saw the bike online and the website contained a thorough video of the bike from top to bottom, pointing out any wear and tear. We felt comfortable enough to put a deposit on the bike, sight unseen, after talking to their team on the phone and we arranged for pickup the following weekend since it is several hours away from our house. We weren't disappointed when we arrived; the bike was as described and ready to go, along with the paperwork. You will discover the true measure of a business when you experience a bump or two during any transaction. I recently narrowed my next bike down to a preowned BMW K1600GTL and began scouring the internet for bikes in my area, but quickly expanded my search nationwide when I came across a fully loaded 2018 with less than 600 miles on it, at an extraordinarily low price. I took a closer look and found that this was listed as a buy-back or lemon law bike. I reside in California and happen to have a friend who is a GM at BMW dealership out of state (and ironically had no preowned models at the time) so I called Kissell Motorsports and spoke with Josh, got all the details as to what the issue/s related to the buy back and promptly called my buddy to verify. After a few more back/forth calls with Josh, I realized he wasn't just trying to sell me, he was genuinely working with me to understand all aspects surrounding this, or any, 'lemon law' bike. When I discovered that some information had inadvertently been missing, Josh immediately called me to apologize and explain the glitch; he was more than fair in resolving this situation. I find Josh to be a very upfront and genuine person, and so I moved forward with the purchase of this bike, sight unseen. Josh worked with me on the transportation of the bike, suggesting a company that he uses regularly without issue, and so it was booked. Upfront, Josh explained that the option we chose would take 4-6 weeks and to be patient - I agreed and understood. FFD 4 weeks. I became a little more impatient as I was eager to start riding this beast of a machine and began contacting the transport company semi-frequently for updates as I was soon to go on vacation and was hoping to have it delivered before I left. Long story almost short, the night before I was leaving on vacation I was notified that the bike had been delivered to the local dealership I picked, but had arrived with several cosmetic dings/chips/scuffs. As this bike was without blemish, I was just crushed - this bike was in perfect condition but now had been mishandled by the courier and I immediately emailed Josh with the details and my absolute disappointment. He again contacted me immediately and helped calm me down by explaining that pictures can be worse than reality and that I needed to inspect the bike personally, but in the mean time he would contact the transport company to find out what happened. I returned 2 weeks later, inspected and took possession of my new crown jewel. Josh was right, although there was damage, it wasn't as soul crushing as I had initially took it, but damage nonetheless. In the end, the damages/claim has been resolved with the transport company thanks to Josh's constant communication/involvement with them, and now I have the blem free bike I was expecting. Because of these bumps in the road, I was able to experience the true integrity and service level of Josh and Kissell Motorsports - this is what any customer is truly seeking. He wasn't just trying to sell me, he was helping me acquire the bike I wanted. I can tell you that I will certainly contact Josh the next time I am in the market for another bike before I look locally. read more

I Bought a 2023 BMW R Nine T pure brand new. On the way home there was a rattle in the tank and the engine. According to the dealer they first said to just break it in. But then when it did not go away and took it back they could not hear it. Then said that the new Euro 5 emissions cause it. What does emissions have to do with a rattle in the tank or engine? However BMW does not stand behind their product neither does the dealer. So, if you are looking for a dealer that backs their product look elsewhere. If you are looking for a manufacturer that stands behind their product look to another brand. Many times I have tried to get into a different bike with as you guessed no help. The only reason for one star is because there is no choice for zero stars. What's more after leaving this heart felt and factual account there still will not be anyone whom cares enough to make it right. After a couple weeks of negotiating the price of a new R1250RT via e-mail (I live in DE over 4 hours away), once we settled on a very fair price we arranged for me to ride up and test ride the new bike on Saturday, 8/8. I went to Kissell on a day I worked, to look at a Honda Interceptor they had for sale. It was a Saturday, Penn State was playing Akron. When I entered the shop, the football game was overwhelmingly loud. I went to the sales counter and spoke to a man there, told him I was interested in the Honda. He stood up, didn't say a word, walked over to the Interceptor, turned it on, and walked away without a word. So I'm in the middle of the showroom with this bike and I don't know what to do. I fiddled around for a few minutes, then I went to speak to the salesman again. He was distracted, and kept watching the football game, even as I told him I had financing for the bike, as well as a trade-in. I could not get him to help me at all. I left. Came back a week later on my bike to trade in, bank check in hand after being quoted a trade value of $1500 by this gentleman the previous week. He and the presumed owner of the shop went out and looked at my bike. I was offered $1000 due to the "condition" of my bike. "This is wrong, that's wrong, etc." I said, I had been here last week and I couldn't hold this gentlemens attention for more than a few seconds, or I would've been prepared with the proper amount of money financed. He looked at me and said, and I quote, "that's a f&#@king lie". Needless to say, I lost my mind, yelled at everyone, tore the check up and walked out. I will not go back. read more

I contacted Kissell Motorsports through Cycletrader's email info link on a weekend evening over the holidays. For that reason I just assumed that I might not hear back from them for quite some time. Instead, I received a reply first thing Monday morning from Megan. She answered all my questions about the bike I was interested in with two or three emails then proceeded to make me a very fair offer on my trade, sight unseen. We agreed on a deposit to hold the sale bike until I could send her pics of mine to confirm it's condition. With that accomplished, she also arranged for delivery and pickup of both bikes since my place is nearly 200 miles from theirs. What they charged me for this was very reasonable. In fact, it probably didn't cover the entire cost of the round trip transportation. Also, the price / condition / value of the bike they were selling was, without a doubt, the best of all the bikes of it's kind I've seen on Cycletrader and I've been shopping this model for a year and a half. It was such a good transaction I might ride the 3 hours to their shop for the bike's first service just so I can meet them and thank them in person. read more

Read me!! Ok it's been a long haul so I'll give you short version... I'm in buffalo closest ducati service is this place the one near me closed in middle of fixing my bike that some drunk kicked over in parking lot.. So I trucked my 1098s to them (10 hour round trip btw) and already havin spoken to to josh felt comfortable with them working on my bike.. 3 months later because of winter and over $6,000 later I make another 10 hr round trip to pick it up.. They installed a slipper clutch amongst many other things.. Next day i hop on to go fill up and don't make it a few FEET!!!! Before clutch is slipping and grinding! If u know anything bout slipper clutch it doesn't mean it's supposed to..I calmly call and ask if they test drove no is the answer but they did have a extra set of springs that came with the kit (wich they should of given me with bike) and he's sending them "right away" for me to install myself...... Ha what a joke.. So in conclusion I spent well over 6k in parts labor and fuel I hot a huge blister on my butt from driving and a $25k bike that doesn't run.. You do the math.. read more

very not happy with service .Brought bike in for an oil change when it was done the service guy did not sign off in book and forgot to plug in a wire harness and the timing chain was making all kind of noise .got home and unloaded bike from trailer noticed sound which any good mechanic should have caught called them back. Brought bike back to them for repair work on timing chain issues which I paid for not a problem. Loaded bike back on trailer got home unloaded bike .Looked in trunk mechanic forgot a piece that went under seat open seat and the screws that hold the engine cover on are not there either. So I call the service manger she is no help have to talk to owner. Called again he tells her take a message and he will call back .I waited for call didn't get one so I call back go through the story he says not going to do anything I tell him I don't feel comfortable with job on motor what other parts are not on machine .So the end result is thank you good by from him and that's it in a nut shell read more
