The price is on the higher side for this area but at the same time you have several things to factor in.. everything tastes homemade including the soups, the portions are large (my mom and I both had leftovers), and you are at a golf course as well so that already sets an expectation for elevated cost in my mind. The service was very friendly and you can tell they work hard, everyone is readily available to help you out while also constantly moving and making sure everyone has everything they need / having efficient table touches, etc. I had the Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo & my mother got the Ribeye.. they were both huge lol but they were also both cooked and prepared perfectly! They have a TON of alcohol selections - for seltzer / can people like myself FYI - they have High Noon, Truly, Surfside, all the good ones! The ambiance is great, it was pretty much a full house when we came and everyone was clearly enjoying themselves. The room when you first walk in has lots of tables by big windows and a bar, and then the back left hand side is full of gorgeous murals covering the walls and additional seating kind of in its own little corner. Overall, definitely recommend this place for a drink and a really nice dinner. Just come hungry and allow yourself the option to go home after with some leftovers! For our meals plus an alcohol beverage each, it was $70 or so, plus a tip.

Upon walking in the host and servers were super nice and we were seated promptly. The space itself is super nice! Not crowded at all but definitely means you should make a reservation as they are super popular! Food was amazing! DO NOT MISS THE ROLLS! I'd come back just for the rolls, they were so soft, fluffy, and light with the perfect flaky salt on top to balance with the whipped honey butter. Delicious! Everything else was also great, the hanger steak is also tender and loved the hash that came with it and the crab spaghetti had ample crab meat in it. Presentation was gorgeous. Love the seasonal menus and you really can't go wrong with anything here. We skipped out on dessert but I'm sure there's great options too. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

We had heard about Lago and I wanted to see the lake so we popped in about 2pm. The place was serving a nice lunch crowd, but we didn't have to wait and were quickly sat at an inside table that was on the edge that looked onto the patio/lake. With the drizzly nature, no one was sitting outside so we had a clear view. Service was great and "on top of it." We ordered and thought we'd have to wait a bit and were settling in to just enjoy the lake vibes when a few minutes later our food came out. Quick and efficient! They have a good beer selection... a little something of everything... and lots of fun cocktails to choose from should you wish to indulge. Their food selection was good... leans towards burgers, sandwiches and pizzas. They do have gluten free buns and pizza crust too. Great place for a casual dinner out with great lake vibes! Not far from the town of Saratoga Springs... maybe 15 minutes depending .... I can see how this place is popular!

We were split between two separate tables due to limited seating, which was understandable. However, after four large parties left and multiple tables became available, we politely asked if we could move so our group could finally sit together. We were refused because the kitchen was "backed up" and they didn't want orders getting mixed up. After waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes, our food finally arrived. One meal was completely wrong despite being ordered with a food allergy in mind, which is unacceptable. To make matters worse, two of the six meals were served cold. After I mentioned we were ready to leave because of the excessive wait, food suddenly started coming out. When we asked for the cold dishes to be remade, we were forced to wait another 40 minutes. The most frustrating part? A table of six seated next to us arrived after we did, ordered after we did, and still received all of their food before ours. There was never a clear explanation for why our table was continually overlooked. Yes, our meal was eventually comped, but after waiting nearly two hours, dealing with an allergy mistake, and receiving cold food, that hardly made up for the experience. Comping a meal doesn't erase poor service or a kitchen that appears unable to handle a busy weekend. The atmosphere is great, but the service was disorganized, the food quality was inconsistent, and the handling of our table was unacceptable. We won't be returning.

In fact, this location is in a marine on an alcove and has several slips for docking. The restaurant has outdoor dining on the large patio overlooking the water or along the deck. We were pleasantly suprised with the quality of food and service. The server was courteous, welcoming, and funny. Every one of our needs was attended to throughout the experience. I ordered a portabello mushroom sandwich with housemade fries. It was served with a balsamic glaze and a portion of their homemade garlic aioli which aside from that would have mad the meal fully vegan. My friend had the bacon cheeseburger topped with melted cheese and crispy thick smokey bacon, not that thin chain restaurant stuff. He really enjoyed it. With a Fiddlehead IPA draft it was an excellent meal. Did I mention how great the server was? Talk about being made to feel at home, we were treated like regulars. I hope the surgery goes well! We were made to feel like family and with the conversation with other customers I feel like that's how everyone gets treated which is awesome!! This is probably a more popular place during warmer months when a patio is open and boat docking is available along the Hudson River. There was only one table of four being served when we arrived at 6 p.m. on a Sunday. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the place is noticeably clean. There was a special on Wings, order 6 and get a dozen for the same price ($13.95). We chose the Whisky BBQ sauce to go with our Fiddlehead IPAs ($6/pint). The wings were meaty and tasty buy not real crispy. My wife didn't notice any whisky flavor, but I thought I did. We also tried the Fish Bites ($8.95) - pieces of haddock breaded and deep fried. They were a nice change from chicken fingers. While my wife ordered their Hawaiian Chicken Wrap Special ($10.95) - with pineapple BBQ sauce, provolone, and a side of cabbage salad, I had their French Dip ($12.95) - with onions, sauteed mushrooms, provolone, au jus, and a side of potato salad. Both dishes were very tasty and plentiful. We each ended up taking half of our meal home for next day's lunch. The food here comes across as home style and is a good value. I'd like to get back once the patio is open and try the hush puppies, a burger, and some of the desserts.
