I liked this store until today. Went to exchange the cylinder for my SodaStream machine. The cashier girl who clearly has no idea about the difference between the two types of cylinders they have in store made a mistake and gave me the wrong one. But when I finally figured it out by myself that she didn't give me the correct one and went back for the second time, the manager or owner argued that maybe I made the mistake and almost refuse to let me exchange for the correct one. How could I give them the wrong cylinder that was just taken off from my machine? read more

Very convenient esp if you live in the area and need to go to a hardware/kitchen store. When I first moved here I didn't have a car so I came here to get misc items that I needed (i.e. broom, bowls, tupperware, candles, kitchen gadgets, etc.). There is a very large selection of various items here and you could spend like 20-30min in here just browsing. If you're looking for something that you can't find at the duane reade or food cellar you will prob find it here! read more

Wow this place is awesome. My toilet seat cover broke and I saw the pieces just laying in the store. The gentleman who worked there told me to just keep the toliet seat kit. Since, they already screwed the toilets into the shelves they no longer needed the item. I can't believe they gave me the pieces for free. This place is awesome and has great customer service. Thanks so much guys. Any other store could have charged me but these guys didn't. Before I even went to the section to look at the selection it feels like you're walking into a perfume store. They have the best smelling candles. They have a variety of pieces here that are cool. I like their prices, they're actually pretty low. I highly recommend this place to anyone. They also make keys here as well. When I was at the store last week my special light bulbs were only $6.00 normally it cost way more at Hme Depot. Thanks again guys. read more

A wonderful store that is a hybrid between hardware store/ higher end rendition of bed bath and beyond. An excellent and NEEDED addition to the community. The store is bright, neat, pricing seems fair and the staff was friendly oh and I liked the music they were playing if that counts. I noticed they sold a variety of regular cleaning items and some organic cleaners as well which is a plus. They have a key maker too! It's a shame I have to write this review. I've been a LIC resident for over 6 years now. Given the year that 2020 has been, I always try to support local businesses. I will go out of my way to do so, even though places like Amazon would be easier. I walked in 40mins to closing time, saw a woman working at the desk. I said a "hello," she replied a "hello" back. It literally says in their yelp description "come and explore". I always love to take my time in this store because they have a lot of fun things! I didn't know "come and explore" meant for anyone besides a POC. I was followed by the same employee. When I looked up, she was looking at something on the wall...the wall that just so happened to be near where I was. She didn't grab anything from the wall, and literally looked at said location for all of 2 seconds. Basically just to make sure I wasn't alone in the back of the store. I was so uncomfortable, I almost asked if I could help HER find something. Which, she also never asked me. I was in the store for 10minutes. Was never asked if I needed any help, just followed. Only to end the visit as a paying customer. I want to support local businesses. But that support is challenged when people are met with racial bias. Guess I'll stick to online shopping. read more

They also have cleaning products and good quality paint. This is LIC bed bath & beyond/Home Depot with class. The customer service is excellent. I love this store! Not only is the location extremely convenient the store has everything! In the Summer I needed a travel cooler bag, they had one. I was replanting and needed a larger pot, they had one, which is very nice. i wanted to put my coffee in a glass jar, not only did they have glass jars, but Mason Jars and very wide selection of others to choose from. The owner is beyond nice and every employee I have encountered has been helpful and knowledgeable. I am so happy that this store Is in my neighborhood. read more

Greeted by lovely smells from the home scents shelved by the door, this neat, organized, excellent curation of household essentials is a treat to browse. From your basic Pyrex measuring cups to toothbrushes made from recycled yogurt cups, this is like a mini Gracious Homes without the ridiculous prices. They carry Aveda, Moroccan oil, other higher end body care products including a handcream that I sampled and will return for, and soon Valspar paints will be sold there as well. Great hardware store with a lot of kitchenware for those who just moved into the neighborhood. Prices are comparable to Amazon and it's nice to see everything in a display. Need a garbage can or other essentials that day? Just go. There's a friendly salesperson called Moe there who will help you with everything you need. He caught me eyeing the DASH products and let me know it's 50 percent off as he was in the process of putting up a sign. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! Never felt more uncomfortable. The owner has constantly eyed me up and finds any reason to speak to me even after I told him to please leave me be. LIC has desperately needed such a store for way too long. It's unfortunate that they "display" their air-fresheners in such an assaultive manner: too much in a poorly ventilated space. I never thought I had fragrance sensitivity, but a couple visits here have shown me otherwise. Each time, I develop a massive headache within a couple minutes of stepping inside. If you have the least bit of fragrance sensitivity or suffer from fragrance allergies, you might want to reconsider shopping here. Alternatively, you could just stand in the doorway and yell your order in. read more

Great selection, given the relatively small size of the store. Very friendly staff. I'm withholding a star from my rating until I get a better sense of the prices. This is a long overdue review.... Been waiting for a store like this to open up in the neighborhood. Now I don't have to scour the internet for kitchen gadgets and wait for delivery as they have it all. Nor do I have to resort to generic tools in DR. They probably have everything from bedsheets to candles, screws, tools, cooking pans and cutlery. Brands they carry are Le Creuset, Oster, Mario Batali, to name a few. A very good place to stock up on your missing kitchen tools or buy a housewarming present for a friend who just moved to the neighborhood. read more

Great to have this in the neighborhood! They carry lots of specialty lightbulbs, which is very convenient. Great selection overall of both hardware and housewares. They cut keys, but I wish they offered knife and scissor sharpening, too! That would be super. Finally, how nice to have automatic doors. It seems like 90% of LIC residents are pushing a stroller, so it's nice when a business takes that into account and makes it easy for us to get in and out. Getting in to the Duane Reade across the street is a real workout, but it's easy to stroll on in to Kitchen Plus More. read more

Long Island City has been in need of a store like this for years, and I can say with certainty that what they've built fits perfectly with the needs of the neighborhood. I always find what I am looking for and have never found the prices to be unreasonable. Mo, Jesus and the rest of the staff are always professional and willing to help. One of the things I love most about the Hunters Point section of LIC is its lack of big box and national brand chain stores, so its nice to see an independent, local shop thrive. We went in here today to find some household items we needed as we just moved. We were greeted by a great sales man named Moe, who was very helpful and basically showed us everything we needed and even provided us with even more options. He was really concerned with our needs and helping us which ultimately made him one of the best sales people we have met at a hardware store especially after having a horrible one at home depot. I love this store. They have LeCreuszet high quality cooking stuff, and anything you can think of for home appliances and kitchen ware. All is neatly arranged, on small space, not clinical but friendly and accessible. I so far bought cleaning stuff, tools, and TV / audio cables. I'm so glad this place exists!!! I used to have to schlep to Greenpoint or Manhattan to get simple hardware supplies or home goods. I went into here a little skeptically because it looks small from the outside, but the selection is huge! I was so happy to find little things like nails/screws, sandpaper, caulk, wood filler, paints, brushes, etc. And finally, a place to get keys made!!!
