When one of the staff noticed me exploring they gave me the run down of everything and when I said I was looking for the makers space, she directed me down two blocks to the right place. The building itself is also quite beautiful, with lots of natural light and visual interest. I learned it has been renovate or added to four times! There are plenty of computers for people to use, and other technological tools -- some of which I didn't even recognize. There is ample seating for studying and even a private meeting room (though it is made of clear glass, so visual privacy is a no-go). It's also kid-friendly with plenty of children's books and hands-on activities for the youngest patrons. As someone who's worked in libraries in the past, I foudn Idea Exchange to be a real pleasure.

Free wireless as well, so it's a great place to get some work done or just study in a calm, quiet place. I typically visit at least once a week :P

What *is* surprising and impressive is that WPL has on numerous occasions had books that weren't available at KPL and TPL. I love all libraries, but WPL's excellent selection (esp for its size) and friendly staff means that it has a special place in my heart!

To preserve the building, you will see the library housed by glass walls giving it a modern look. The location has a parking lot with a 2hr parking limit with after hour drop box for patrons. When you drive in, be careful, next door is a fireball. Don't mistaken the fireball driveway for the library.

The noise level in the basement is loud and echoes a lot so if you need complete silence, this may not be the place for you. It's also really hard to find a seat during midterm season and onwards because people would save seats for long periods of time or even camp overnight during finals season.

Today I did a pick up for a basketball. Athletic sports items can be borrowed for 3 weeks like…read morebooks. Ball was slightly inflated but did the job for practising hoops. Wifi is free, with the login and "accept." When picking up media, an empty holder is placed hold shelf and pick up at the front desk so let them know what you're picking up.
