He was totally arrogant to the students, pushed them into the waves before giving any signal (which surfteacher is anyway pushing in Europe, was thinking that's just a bad behavior in Asia) and sometimes quite rude. Seems like he didn't really like his job. But the worst was the behaving to the other surfers in the lineup. He insulted them, blocked the waves for the students and even pulled their leaves. Never again. Also in general I can't really recommend these area for surfing, way to inconsistent.

It can be busier in the summer months especially with tourists not just from outside of spain. The best thing to do is to bring some homemade sangria wine and a floating bar (essentially a solid block of flat wood) that you can use to keep your drinks perched above the water while you snorkel and check out the little fish! Alternatively you can lounge on the sand and get a head start on that melanoma, wrinkling, moles, all the good things people get when they are those who don't bother putting on sunscreen!

Wide, white sandy beach. The water from the Atlantic is cold here. There is most always a strong…read morewind, so it is a Mecca for kite boarding and wind surfing. Ion has a kite school here. There is parking (5€) and camping. There is a good restaurant (Tumbao), surf/kite shop and showers (.50€) and toilets (.20€). Those who don't do water sports have miles of sandy beach where they can lie and soak up the sun. The entrance is a bit difficult to find as it is between fields with cattle but has a metal entrance arch. One hour from Estepona. One and a half hours from Marbella.
