Where to start? I reached out to Kitsap Construction to see if someone could stop in to see about a leaky roof. I received a reply within an hour and had an inspection just a few hours later. Next thing I know a repair was made and a refusal to even charge me for the visit. You read that right. I've never had a company not only respond so quickly but be overly honest about the repair. Was it easy? Yes, but you don't always tell the customer that. Right? I will be giving Kitsap Construction a call for every project I have going forward. Our family lives in the Island Lake / Ridgetop area of Silverdale. We had a vantage point to observe Joey and his team at work on our neighbors house prior to them doing our roof. What I observed added to my confidence they would do a great job on my roof. From start to finish, Joey communicated in a timely and professional manner. He and his team were efficient, taking only two days for a full roof replacement. And his pricing was very fair. He also clearly showed his roofing experience & expertise as part of his initial evaluation and advising. I had several roofers on my roof prior and only Joey identified the fact that our roof had aged prematurely, with shingle loss that was indicative of a bad batch of shingles deserving consideration of looking into possible warranties. Here's a fun fact...there was a surprise of snow during the night...it wasn't in the forecast. Because Joey decided to protect the bare roof from dew overnight for his crews safety the next day, they were able to remove the tarps and get to work. I believe most roofers would not have gone to the effort to tarp the whole roof and wold have been delayed by the snow. But not Joey and team! Great communication, solid answers to our questions, great experience all around. Thanks for the peace of mind Joey and Crew! We hired Kitsap Construction to install our new roof. They were so professional, courteous to us and our neighbors and just all around the best construction company to hire that I highly recommend. They made sure at the end of each day that all their mess was cleaned up and blew off the sidewalks and everything possible to make sure my yards were in better condition then they were before. (Debris). There were no hidden fees or surprised that you experience the majority of the time with construction. The last day when they finished up they even offered to clean my skylights for me! Joey Easley, the face of Kitsap Construction did a fine job on my roof repair and I would easily recommend him to anyone needing a new roof or repair. He was very knowledgeable and his price was very fair. He could have tried to talk me into a new roof like the other companies who estimated the repair but I had the roof inspected when buying the house and knew while it was not new it still had some years left in it before having to replace it. Received estimates from multiple companies. Chose Kitsap Construction as it came in lower than the rest and Joey was very polite and professional. I did not regret this decision. Joey rocks. We had a large branch fall on the corner of our metal roof, destroying a portion of the roof, gutter, and wood underlay. Joey asked for a couple pictures, estimated the damage and cost of repair, and handled everything, end-to-end, once I agreed to move forward. The repair was complicated by the fact that we have custom-sized gutters. But, this was no obstacle for Joey. He researched a supplier, submitted the order, and got it all handled at an extremely reasonable price. Joey's a pleasure to work with - I highly recommend! read more

Joey at Kitsap Construction is a straight shooter. I saw his work in re-roofing a place in our neighborhood and liked what I saw. I looked at 5 other roofers and Joey's bid was the most reasonable. He came when he said he was coming and had the roof completed in 2 days. Looks great and he paid attention to the details. Highly recommend Kitsap Construction. You don't have a corporation do the work, you have down to earth people do it who work for their good reputation. Would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

Our roof started to leak. I called Kitsap Construction at about 2pm. Joey came out the same day in the dark, in the rain to take a look at it. He found 3 spots on the inside where water was entering. He went out on the roof, replaced a pipe boot, and gave us some great recommendations for getting by until we are ready to replace the roof. This is our second time calling Kitsap Construction for roofing needs and we will definitely be calling again when it is time to replace the roof. read more

Update: Subsequently we did connect via a phone call and Joey subsequently visited & assessed the repair work. He also took time to assess the roof, vents, attic (underside of roofing and venting), walked me through his assessment by showing me the recommended venting upgrades (from inside the attic and outside the house) and vent repairs with photos. He never pushed, and actually recommended the venting upgrade work be done when the roofing gets replaced. Joey was friendly, communicative, easy going, and completed the repairs. Yes, I recommend contacting Kitsap Construction (KC) for roofing work and will do so again when further work is needed on this roof. Based upon my experience I would give KC a 4.5 - but that's not available. Knowing that sometimes 'stuff' just happens and we work through it, plus seeing that other reviews are predominately 5's, I have updated my rating to a 5 as well. Thanks Joey read more

Just got my roof done with Kitsap Construction. His presence (Joey the owner) provided quality workmanship and detail. The rain pour down as soon as they completed they work and no leak. Although my downspout was left out disconnect (I didn't notice it until the HOA pointed to me) he came by and fixed it. Joey's presence during the work really gives you a piece of mind. As the other review, his politeness also convinced me to take his bid). Hopefully he'll get more business in our community. Very reasonable price...We'll see during the winter. We had our roof replaced yesterday, and I can only speak extremely highly of Joey and his team! From start to finish they managed to do it all in one day! What I observed and experienced was a highly motivated, seriously polite, very skilled and very well trained crew, from beginning to end. They worked cleanly (literally leaving NO mess behind), at a consistent pace, while providing excellent work all around. Every question was answered immediately, without hesitation, and definitely without being annoyed. Respectfulness of the property was a no brainer. These young men have a thorough understanding of work ethics, teamwork, reliability, and - from what I could tell - they also had fun doing what they were doing. Joey Easley was so great to work with. No one wants to replace a roof but when you do the products that are shoved your way can overwhelming. I did a lot of research and had 7 bids in total. Joey's was by far the cheapest, which made me nervous. I couldn't be happier that I trusted my gut. He is just a good guy. His crew was clean and so quite and respectful of my family. Every night he cleaned up after himself and left no trace of his presence. I had been tempted to use a bigger company but I love supporting local business. He is a small but efficient company that I would recommend without hesitation! Our neighbors need a new roof as well and went with a different company. They are paying almost double what my roof ended up being and our project was of a much larger scale. Kitsap Construction has been one of the best decisions we made for our home. Wow, wow, wow. Look no further. Joey Easley and his crew were absolutely incredible. They are most highly recommended!! Joey himself was so approachable, kind, friendly, and professional when he first came to make the estimate, and when the project started, he and his crew worked all day with a very short lunch and finished as promised in two days. They were prompt, hard working, careful around plants and deck furniture, and made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards each day. Joey also got up into the attic, investigated poorly done duct work from the previous owner, put netting over the vents where some squirrels were coming in and out, went to get not only new plywood for the ones that were rotted, but also got paint that matched our exterior and had them painted without charging extra for labor. He even got extra parts for a section of gutter that didn't have netting over it and installed that for us too. His guys even cleaned our skylights at the end, and took away every piece of debris that had fallen around the house. We were so incredibly impressed by the pace and quality of their work, and for a cost that we thought was very reasonable. We were quoted more than twice that amount with another company with a two hour sales pitch over a glossy brochure at the end of a long workday, and Joey undid all the apprehension we had experienced with the other company. He evaluated and added a bit of sealant around an inlet pole where there had been a slight water leak on roof (at no charge) prior to even giving a bid. He is very knowledgeable with roofs, gave a comparative bid, replied to our inquiry within a short TAT, was professional and personable. We highly recommend Joey. read more
