I just renewed my Lease because even though the prices are a little high I get a really good discount for being in law enforcement. I'm happy living here. Maintenance responds to request in a reasonable time and even though I don't like the property manager very much the office staff are great. My girlfriend loves Megan, we always go to her whenever we have an issue and she makes sure it gets fixed for us. I have a lot of family members that live here now and she helped all of them move in and we all love her. Overall I think this is a pretty good place to live and I would recommend it. read more

Kitterman Woods when you pull in looks like a tropical paradise! The landscape is very well taken care of. The apartments are spacious and the newly renovated apartment homes have spectacular features! The quartz countertops, plank flooring, led lighting and modern cabinets mix so well with my personal furniture. I love having the 2 pools and the dog park on site as well! If you are in the Port St Lucie area, I highly recommend this community for your future home! read more

Worse apartment ever ... if I could give any advice I'd say run far away .. leasing office takes no accountability, they don't answers phone calls or emails . roach infested . Ants in every square inch of the place , reoccurring mold that they paint over. I've found lizards and plenty of bugs I can't even name ... please save yourself the stress and headache and move elsewhere is what I wish someone had told me ... they recently received new management but nothing is changed .. .. If you do choose this horrible place make sure to screen shot and document everything even the service request because it deletes on the app and they can't deny that you've placed "said" request if you have the proof .. I've seen the complex's response to other tents reviews, they may seem like they care but they DO NOT ...I still am currently leasing ,counting down the days until I leave... when I spoke to the manager in person she denied ever meeting me , when we literally met before she offered no solution or anything but a condescending tone . I have been living here for 6 months and I like it. The maintenance may not respond in under 24 hrs but they do respond within 3 days unless is an emergency... the maintenance people are very professional. They know what they are doing, so I never worry about any repair or clean up. Now for the neighborhood itself... location is good. You won't always get the best neighbors and they will be people that will break the rules. As a resident if I see something wrong I will report it... The management team do care and for that appreciate and is the reason why I recommend this place. The only negative point I have... but no points lost, is that some people just don't clean up after their dog... and that's not easy to control. It will happen anywhere. read more

Overall, this is a fairly mediocre apartment complex. That being said, you pay too much for what you get. -Substandard amenities -People drive with their trash bags on the hood of their car to take it to the compactor -The grounds are not maintained well and there is a raccoon that hangs out at the pool (we've reported it and Kitterman Woods seems to be entirely unbothered) -We fought for an entire year for the apartment complex to fix our air conditioning system that started malfunctioning 2 weeks after move in. They fixed it a month before we moved out While Rakeem (Asst. Property Manager) and Wendy (Property Manager) are lovely to speak to, neither care at all about you or if your apartment is meeting expectations. They will likely not followup with you if its a conversation they're disinterested in having and they do not consider your air conditioning completely breaking mid Florida summer a "maintenance emergency". So, have fun sleeping in a 90 degree apartment until someone finally bothers to help you. Do not move here if you have any reasonable expectations of your quality of life or if you do not want to be awoken by dogs howling at 5am on Saturday morning. -Dusty old apartments where base boards are broken, cabinet paint peeling and a staff who is good at smiling at you but not actually helping. read more

Pretty depressing when you move in somewhere and they raise your rent so astronomically much after 1 year that you, your husband, 10 month old and your 13 year old foster child have to move out.... all for people who don't even LIVE IN FLORIDA. When will management speak up for us residents... Everyone is moving out because they cant afford it. Try explaining to your foster child who's autistic that we don't know where we'll be living or if he'll even be allowed to stay with us because we'll more than likely be HOMELESS. I've been here a few weeks now and all service requests have been responded to/handled in a timely manner.

Moved in a few years ago for a reasonable price. They upped my rent every year by at least $100. Multiple peoples cars have been broken into as well as the neighbors motorcycles stolen. Trash compactor is broke literally every month and in return there's piles of trash that people leave and raccoons just have a field day. Breezeways, hallways and stairs are disgusting, cobwebs everywhere as well as animal waste (the smell is intense). Lots of lazy renters who won't clean up after their animals here as well. Can be quite loud at night, you can hear people coming up and down the stairs as well as them slamming their doors. All I'm saying is, for the price that I've had to pay to live here it's absolutely not worth it and me and my husband are eager to leave once our lease is up (and don't even get me started on that). read more

I took one peek into Kitterman Woods apartments for a three bedroom unit. Tropical setting my hide: Sadly half the units face out into the parking lot. Great if you are a people watcher, I am not one of these. I enjoy a view of nature/landscapes, not of people coming and going. That simple enjoyment of a preferred view costs an extra $30. Pet friendly? Yeah right! At a $400 non-refundable pet fee per pet. The floor plans of a one bedroom unit look normal. If you need an extra bedroom or two, that space for extra bedrooms is taken from the master bedroom, living room, dining room and balcony making these areas very small, you can't fit a table into the dining area. It cuts all living space by a third. Obviously at such an exorbitant cost you should be able to expect better living. No luxury here! read more

I am actually up in the air on which way to go with my review. We did not rent from them but i will go with the pros first. I don't nt believe breed restrictions for dogs so its cool that they don't have any. The place looked clean. The kitchen was huge for an apartment with that being said let me go through the application process. First I was denied stating I had felonies not true I work for a bank so NO. I was given the phone number to LeasingDesk to dispute this they cleared it up no joke almost a month later during this time I called kitterman Woods and was told my application would be on hold with the apartment. Once my background was cleared I was told no they rented the apartment and that they do not hold an apartment. They then asked for new pay-stubs so they could resubmit my application not once saying they would do a second hard pull on the credit report. They then said oh you have a prior eviction from my previous apartment. No I do not I immediately called my old apartment complex and they verified they never evicted me my lease was up. So I called Kitterman Woods back and they said oh well someone lied to you because they did. Pretty sure they would not lie to me about an eviction and considering Kitterman already screwed up once on my background I'm 100% certain they would do it again. Once done with Kitterman I called another complex and OMG guess what no eviction and huh no felonies on myself or my Boyfriends record again I work for a bank My boyfriend works for the government so felonies are not something we can have. Kitterman Woods looks nice but when they screw up on your application they act like it is YOUR fault. Not a management company anyone should deal with. I feel disrespected and like I constantly had to defend myself against there screw ups. if you can, look else where or call a real estate company they can find you a house for the same price as an apartment that will allow your dog. read more

Luxury? No. Bugs no matter what you do all the time especially on the ground floor. Then they want to charge you for them. The bug guy told us they don't caulk anything around the cupboards that's why it does no good for him to spray. Would not recommend for the price. read more

Kitterman Woods Apartments WTF is up with your fire alarms? Your malfunctioning units are not only getting people out of bed in the middle of the night but wasting the resources of our local fire department. I and all of my neighbors were woken up at midnight for the 3rd false fire alarm in the last (not even) 2 mos since we've been here. What are you doing to compensate my husband who has a big interview in the morning? What about the toddler upstairs who had to be carried out of his bedroom in the middle of the night for nothing? What about the person who actually needed help while the fire department was wasting time with us? IRRESPONSIBLE is the nicest word I can use right now. This is beyond despicable. read more

This is the absolute worst place I have ever lived. Drug bust the other night, dirty and they rip you off. I have to pay almost $3200 just to break my lease. Lived here for a year. We never had any big issues. The neighbors upstairs were very loud. Sometimes keep us up at night. There are A LOT of dogs. Always barking. Always. We moved out last November and got our full deposit back no problems. Terry was fantastic from the moment we signed to lease til the moment we left. We only left because we wanted something bigger. I love this place! Very quiet, very clean. People mind their own business here. Very nice pleasant neighbors, all dogs on a lease, pool area is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. I never hear dogs barking, I live with two dogs and have never had a problem. read more

the worst place i have ever lived at!!!! do not rent here as it has the most incompetent staff known to mankind... with the exception of the maintenance supervisor the workers are useless and lack both professionalism and common sense... on day #1 the apartment was not ready as promised and we had to clean it inside out because they had left cat or dog hair in the washing machine, the windows looked as if they had been buried in the mud and simply placed on the window frame without cleaning!!! my wife is asthmatic and due to their "thorough" cleaning of the apartment (which we had been told the guys had worked tirelessly to have "move in ready" and put endless time of "weekend hours" to have it "perfect" for us) i had to race her to the hospital for a severe asthma attack... 1 of the maintenance workers actually put caulking around both bathroom toilets which took all of several months to dry!!!! the property manager stated that "he used the wrong kind of caulking!"... 2 words: incompetence personified!!!! i dont believe there has been any prolonged period of enjoyment on our behalf... its pathetic. i have had my work boots stolen from the very front of my apartment door... my front door!!!!!!! i cannot under any circumstance ever refer any decent human being to this dump of a place they call "luxury apartment homes".... its more like forget what you saw on rent.com, and remember how deceived you felt after you made the horrible mistake of moving in to this reject of a property. lest i forget that they also promised "wood flooring" and come to find out it was, yes you guessed it, another lie!!! i spoke to at least 5 tenants and they all, to a man/woman have said they too have been hoodwinked by the same people who promised them heaven but instead delivered hell... do yourself a favor and stay away as far as you can from here... please save yourselves... read more
