K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Services is a locally owned, veteran-owned funeral home serving Anniston and Calhoun County from the Golden Springs area, near Forestlawn Gardens, Anniston Memorial Gardens, and Highland Cemetery, and the nearby communities of Jacksonville, Oxford, Heflin, Gadsden, Piedmont, Riverside, and Pell City. First opened in 1999 as Brown and Kughn Memory Chapel and renamed K. L. Brown Memory Chapel in 2006, our Anniston location offers a light-filled lobby, a spacious chapel, and ample on-site parking. We provide funeral, burial, memorial, and direct cremation services, funeral pre-planning, green burial, veterans' burial benefits assistance, financing and insurance assignment, and grief support and aftercare. Monuments and memorial markers are available through our affiliated monument division, and families are welcome to meet Quimby, our certified funeral home therapy dog, during a visit.

Meet the Business Owner: Craig B.
Growing up the son of a pastor, Craig attended many funerals from a young age. He saw the grief and heartbreak families suffered, and when his own grandfather passed away, he appreciated the compassion and professionalism of the funeral directors who took care of his family. Craig has been in the funeral business since 1995, and managed KL Brown Memory Chapel for 10 years before he and his wife purchased the business in 2016. He continues to care for families and values the trust they put in him.
