During a Germany trip, we started and ended our trip in Frankfurt. Stadel Museum is one of the top attractions on TripAdvisor in the city. I've been fortunate enough to visit some of the most significant museums of fine art in the world. Stadel Museum is on the same level as museums like the Hermitage, Prado, etc., but it is still very much worth your time. It's spacious and there's a lot of art to see. Some of the highlights include works of art by Degas, Rodin, Monet, Renoir, Titian, Warhol, and Picasso. Though the focus is on European art. A must-see when visiting Frankfurt!

But that's art, right? Karl Otto Götz's "Bild vom 15.12.1952" was interesting and the Armand Pierre Fernandez "White Orchid / Gesprengter Sportwagen" on the wall certainly was different. And some artists that I had seen before including Jasper Johns' "Targets" and the Warhol "Dance Diagram" were very nice. A great opportunity to see art.

Goethe was well educated and privileged and it helped him to be one of the best German writers ever in history. If you come during the summer time, the rooms are a bit warm, since they do not have air conditioning.
