I don't know what the relationship is between knobe and Terry's lawn equipment. I used k one on Midlothian for years and they were always helpful and polite. when they closed they referred me to terry's. Took them almost 10 weeks and 2 try's, to fix a backpack blower,- a brand they sell! Employees who act like they don't want to help you.

Please think before using this service. Tpok my gas string trimmer there because it wold not start. They had it for 5 months and said 3 times they had it repaired. Each time i picked it upand tried to use it, it would not work. It would start, but upon revving it up to speed to trim, the engine would die. Its totally useless and thry will not work on it anymore. They refused to refund any of the nearly $100.00. Think before using this company. read more

Knabe was a legitimate equipment repair place many years ago but cannot claim that today. They have become nothing more but a ripoff joint today. I got the same BS about bad fuel and fuel stabilizers that don't do what their intended to. After a 50 bill out the window to drain the tank and put some super gas and their 7.00/ qt stabilizer the engine runs , but for how long ?? I wasn't aware that Knabe was part of Terry's Small engine repair I would have never taken the mower there. Terry's has always been known as a rip-off repair service and now there reputation has spread to a one time legitimate repair place. read more

Not a great experience. I paid about $100 to have my push mower tuned up and repaired. Took them several weeks. Got it home and, after mowing for about 30 minutes, it started sputtering and cutting off. Called and said I was bringing it back. Was told I had put "cheap gas" in it from the Kroger station and I would have to pay more for them to look at further. I was game and went and bought "good gas" from Shell and still sputtering etc. Guess it was worth $100 to get a good belly laugh from hearing that lame explanation that I haven't heard since the 1970s. My deceased grandfather would have been tickled, because that's the same reason why he said his old car knocked for 2 minutes after he turned it off! Friggin' OPEC! Went out and just bought myself a new mower, life is too short to deal with them any further! read more

It's not easy to find an honest, capable and reputable shop for small engine repair. Knabe is all that. They fix what is broken for a fair price within the promised timeframe. If something doesn't need fixing they won't touch it, and you won't be charged unnecessary costs. Everything I've brought in has always been expertly addressed the first time. I highly re commend them. read more

Looks like a nice small town shop from the outside, but I would not recommend this shop for anything. They have the worst excuses/answers for reasons they can't fix something or atleast try to fix it. Terrible customer service, but I should have known from the previous reviews. read more

I have used Knabe for several years. They are very knowledgeable, do the job correctly and at a reasonable price. They are sometimes slow because they are backed up, because they are good. I have tried others in the Richmond area but always come back to Knabe. read more
