I opened a student account which supposedly had no overdraft fees, monthly fees, or minimum balance. Without informing me, they completely changed the original agreement and gave me a $2 monthly service charge of which I was unaware. This placed me slightly over $1 in the red at the end of May. After stacking on various overdraft charges, I received a letter notifying me that I apparently owe $73.11. I called the bank, and a terribly rude employee told me it was actually -$84.11. This was the first I heard that my account was overdrawn. I received NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER up until this point. KNBT is clearly in the business of screwing over honest depositors, and you would be wise to look elsewhere to satisfy your banking needs. read more
