Went to other Chiropractors before him but they honestly didn't help as much as Dr Dean Flora. He has a healing touch and has been a Godsend since I was a young man.. Have always said to my wife and kids if your sick see a MD. If you have back pain, or surprisingly other pain, this is the Man you need to see. One of my biggest fears is that one day the pain will be terrible and Dr Flora will be retired. His receptionist, Debby, has been there as long as I can remember, She is fantastic at her job as well. Keeps this Busy Office running smoothly and knows exactly how to deal with insurance companies. You rarely have to wait over 2-3 minutes to get called back to a room. Bettter Living Massage in Alpena no longer does ashiatsu since Rose is teaching full time. Reena was very tolerant of me arriving early and got me in ahead of time. The ashiatsu technique of Reena was way more sophisticated than Rose despite Rose teaching massage. Ashiatsu massage is much stronger than the typical massage because Reena's full body weight is used to stretch and massage the muscles in the body. Reena did a full classical ashiatsu massage including the feet, hands, back and legs. The massage facilities were first rate and far more than I expected. I plan to go back again on my birthday.

For example, she knows that my chronic hip issue requires more: she stretches my IT bands each time, giving me more of a range of mobility and helping hold my adjustment longer. Dr. Scarfe also cares by hiring good people: for the front of the office and even a massage therapist. Just today, I visited the office as a walk in. She was busy, right before lunch, yet she fit me in with a smile on her face. We moved away from Auburn three years ago: it would be more convenient for us to find another chiropractor, but we wouldn't dream of it. We make the trip once or twice a month, and it's always worth it.

I understand this billing probably slipped through the cracks with the insurance company. when I called Saginaw Dental Excellence, I was told that they usually ignore billing anything less than $5.00, but, yes, I owe $2.40! I paid the bill. I would still bring ice creams and other treats, like I did when I traveled 4+ hours to get there, but I receive my care closer to home, now. the practioners are terrific. hygienists, dentists wonderful. business practices abysmal Beware!

Let me just start by saying my experience there was good when I did go and was seen. However…read morecalling to cancel services because it was no longer needed was definitely the worst experience of customer service I have ever received. When I called to cancel the receptionist immediately had an attitude and tried to talk me out of it even when I informed her that this came from my primary doctor. I then had to have my daughter advocate for me because she was not excepting my instructions to cancel the services. Mind you this is all I needed to do. She then told my daughter that the hospitals and doctors don't understand what they do. And that my daughter just wanted me to take medication I don't need. Her tone was so rude during all of this and unnecessary for what I wanted and needed to do. My daughter then asked to speak to the office manager after this was stated and the lady on the phone said she was the office manager and still proceeded to try and convince us not to cancel the services with the worst attitude. My daughter finally had enough of her and told her she wanted the service canceled and whatever balance that was on file needed to be refunded. This is beyond ridiculous and very unprofessional. Who ever this office manager lady is should be fired and should not be telling someone what is best for them. I don't know if she thought she was a doctor today but The owners of this establishment really need to send her back to training.

Instead, Tim listened to my concerns and decided on an alternative... muscle scraping. Tim explained everything, answered all my questions, and reassured me (when I had my doubts) that I don't have to live in pain anymore. The first visit was good, but the game changer came the second visit (Tuesday). For the first time in 13+ years, as I drove home, I FINALLY felt relief (at moments, I felt ZERO pain in my neck)! I just finished my third visit and I can't rave enough about how much of a difference this has made! For years, I have lived in frustration that my neck always hurt, and never thought I would feel better.
