As part of the conversation she asked why we moved and I was explaining the reasons for my family moving away from the I-5 corridor and she replied with stating that she thinks Oakland California has gotten better since her last visit - basically again just not caring about my thoughts and experiences. Overall the conversation was just a complete dismissal of anything I had to say or felt and a push of her preferences and opinions.
