Newly opened, this is now the largest grocery store in Korea Town. Open 24/7: it's convenient if you're willing to make the walk or pay for a jeep (it's near the bridge). When you enter, the staff bow and greet you in Korean.
I appreciate that they're fresh meat section has small packages of meat that fit into my budget for two. In their produce section, many garlic bulbs and onions have started to sprout, so make sure to inspect your produce thoroughly. If you're buying fruits or veggies that are not already prepackaged, make sure to have one of the staff weigh your produce, place it in a plastic bag with a bar code sticker before you take it to the cash register.
They have a houseware, hardware and toy sections. They also sell beauty products and costume jewelry.
I just don't appreciate that there are many items lacking price tags or prices on the shelves. They don't even have price scanners, so you need to track down one of the workers and wait for them to check the price for you. Because the other Korean grocery stores in the area have price scanners, and prices here are higher than other grocery stores in Korea Town: I can only give this place 2 stars. read more
