There is only so much customer "service" you can push on people in a train station when there are queues and people in a hurry to get home/to work. Insisting on making new pretzels for people during rush hour because the ones on display won't be fresh enough does not fly in this city! It's London -the standards for food are terrible, just give the woman a slightly dry pretzel.
I left the other day because the helpful staffer was talking for so long to the woman in front of me about her pretzel options that I was going to miss my train.
The one time I did get a pretzel, it was delicious and not overly expensive. I had a salt and pepper mini pretzel to tide me over until dinner, over an hour of commuting later.
The decor is AWFUL. I pray they did not use a designer to come up with the concept of wallpaper that shows Google results for the word "knot". Awful awful awful.
I may return for another pretzel on my train journey home --if I have time to kill before it arrives. read more
