This is a heck of a nice brewpub! I stopped by there a week or so ago to meet up with some Webster pals. This is one of their favorite haunts, and I'm glad they clued me into this joint. The super welcoming and friendly staff made me feel as if I was a Webster local. I ordered a side of pretzels (with pub cheese) to share with my tablemates...when they came out they disappeared quickly! Really enjoyed my first time at Knucklehead this weekend! This is a great brewery with unique beers and an excellent kitchen. Everyone so enjoyed their eats and beers, and we didn't even have the chance to check out their entire back dining room area. They have ample, spaced out seating, with nice looking leather couches available during the non-COVID times. You order everything up at the bar and then can leave your tab open for the evening. I went with a flight of four beers ($11) and the chicken cutlet sandwich with fries. Let's talk about these french fries?!? The best I've had in a VERY long time. So so salty and they came out piping hot and crispy - I was surprised and impressed. My favorite beer was the key lime pie ale they had on tap. I expected to hate this but it was next level. The thought of making some kind of tequila cocktail with this beer?! Dangerous. I really loved it. The kreme ale was also a winner for everyone at the table, and the vanilla blueberry seltzer was enjoyed by most of us. My sandwich was excellent and the service was really speedy. This brewery has a more suburban vibe and wouldn't be my top pick for a night out in the future, but I am looking forward to coming back for growlers of their delicious beer and a trip for some good eats. Came recommended by our son. Stopped for a bite. Non drinkers so we got water (self serve), no problem. Ordered food at the bar and sat at our table. The water was not cold so I brought up a cup and ask if they had ice and if yes cold I have some in the cup. The answer was yes we have ice and no, we only use it for cocktails. They referred me to the "cold" water from the dispenser. I explained that it wasn't very cold and a little ice would be a big help. Again, no! So much for customer service!! Food was good, finger food really. But the attitude and responses was what left a bad taste in our mouths. A real disappointment!! Too many places to chose from that treat you right. We went here for the first time as we like to try different breweries. It did not disappoint. The only reason it was only 4 stars is the selection of beers was a little small. The food was excellent. I had one of the best smoked bologna sandwich I have had since leaving Texas 3 years ago. My spouse had a half order of boneless chicken wings. Real chicken hand breaded, with knuckle sauce. Had Kathy's Kreme ale which was light and delicious. The cap is the night was the blueberry cobbler ale, which tasted exactly like blueberry cobbler. I enjoyed my first visit here! So a few friends and I went to check this brewery out. I'm not one who's up in Webster all that much but this was a nice surprise. They have outdoor seating (but it was WAY TOO HOT outside ) for that today so we stayed inside. It's a large place with a few rooms to sit and chat and live music while we were there. Staff could not be nicer or more helpful. I was not sure about trying a new to me cider and I was able to get a sample which was so helpful. The cider I got was OBS Cider Laid Back (Tangerine and Juniper) it was thirst quenching and just right. My friends got a pale ale and a sour I believe. They were both happy with their choices. We went to go sit in the cavernous back room. It was so nice to sit around with a few friends someplace after the year we all have had do to Covid. I believe you can order food but we were here to have a cold drink and a visit. They have a long bar when you come in.. the color scheme is of cream colors and lighter wood. I'm think anyone whom likes beer, cider or hard sparkling will be happy here. I'd like to revisit this place and try other things. They have a parking lot up front and also behind the brewery. Oh my goodness - the beers here are spectacular! My husband & I each got a flight and enjoyed it on the patio. We also ordered from the menu - a double jalapeño burger and a Philly cheesesteak. These were not your ordinary plates - the chef prepared extraordinary flavor in the dishes that blew us away! An absolutely spectacular place to unwind after a day on the road. Went in there and had the weirdest experience. There was no rhyme or reason for the line to order at the bar. We stood by the counter, and the bartender, an older man around 65, decided that he was going to service everyone around us, must have been his acquaintances and completely ignored my husband and I. Then someone paid with cash and he proceeded to yell over at the other bartender, a woman, and start dancing and stuff the cash in his pants. That's when we decided to just walk out. I love that there are so many craft brewing places all around now and even better when they know how to make a great beer. Knucklehead definitely did their homework! Kathy's Kreme Ale(named after one of the owners) is my favorite, super refreshing light cream ale with big taste. It can be paired with anything on their menu or stand alone. My other go to is their Ehret's Amber Ale, darker in color with this perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness of the caramel flavor is just so smooth. The prices are great too, $4 for a 12oz, $5 for a 16oz (some others are a little more) I filled up on a 32 oz growler for $8 ... This place has such a cool, cozy relaxing vibe to it. From the couches in the sitting area by the fireplace, to the long bar area (great spot to talk and laugh with the owners) to the high tables through out the place. Love all the positive inspirational signs on the walls and in the bathrooms. Iv'e only ordered from the kitchen a few times, love the Bavarian soft pretzels...the salt is perfect with the beer and that beer cheese ...so good! My best friend and I drove here from Buffalo, NY to try their Tangerine Creamsicle beer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My friend and I each ordered our own flight. I ordered a flight of their rootstock cider, their OSB strawberry, the tangerine creamsicle, and their robust porter. The porter was great and was my favorite out of the four. Their bathroom was spacious and had really cool uplifting quotes on their walls. My friend and I sat at tall seats in their tasting room. They had a few other tall tables, a tasting bar right near the taps, shorter chairs and tables, and also a few chairs and a couch that looked comfortable. I bought a tee shirt so I could remember this awesome brewery. I'm glad we stopped here first became it got quite busy shortly after we got there. They suggested the Nine Maidens brewery when we asked for other local recommendations. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely come back here. read more

I had never been to this brewery so we stopped to try some of their brews. We shared three veggie tacos-cauliflower, pickled onions, jalapeños so yummy! The favorite of the day was the Key Lime ale. Used to be our favorite brewery to grab a bite to eat and have some amazing beers when in the area. Been going there almost since it first opened. The food was absolutely amazing in the beginning. Not so much now. Mac Salad is nothing like it was--and over onioned flavored every time, food menu is very paired down, little variety, and what's there now is not outstanding. Chicken sandwich was a strange flavor and one HUGE thick hunk of chicken, like it came out of the package (not pounded flat or anything), a bit overwhelming (but I guess some like that). The beer is still good, with a nice variety of flavors that they usually do very well, but the Blueberry Cream Ale seems not as perfect as it used to be, Pumpkin beer was bitter. Husband's favorite "Tainted Haze" seemed different also. Years ago I'd have giving 5 stars or more, today, it's good, but not the level it was. What a great place to get craft beer! Knucklehead is family-owned and the owners are a true pleasure to talk to. They're currently located in Webster on the corner of Bay and Ridge. There is a decent amount of parking which helps a ton. We didn't have a problem getting a spot on a Saturday night, but the place wasn't empty either. They have ample seating inside and they're trying to find an outdoor seating solution for the summer. We opted for a flight, because why not? I'm not ashamed to say that I stereotypical love a fruity brew, and their mango beer really hit the spot on an early summer night. It's just sweet enough, but not overwhelmingly fruity. The stout was appropriately rich and almost chocolaty. Aside from the mango, my favorite was the scotch ale, which was pleasantly light and flavorful. For craft beer, the prices aren't bad either. We didn't try the food because we came in too late--the kitchen closes at 9:30. Their hours are a little limited, as they close at 11pm, but you can understand since it's a family place. Everyone there was very friendly. We'll definitely be back, probably for drinks AND dinner next time. read more

This place exceeded my expectations! The beers were tasty, and they even offer to put a little cinnamon sugar on the rim of your pint glass (or at least they did with my cobbler sour!) Their beer offerings were thoughtfully diverse, ranging from sours to IPAs to porters, and we enjoyed each one we tried. The bartender kindly offered to let me try a few sips of a couple beers before choosing one for my pint. We were pleased to find ample space for seating in the back of the establishment--it was busy on a Friday night, but we were still able to find a table. I forgot to take a photo of our food, but we did also try the boneless wings with Knucklehead sauce, and they were so good! The sauce was like a mix of country sweet and Carolina gold sauces, and I loved that they were house-breaded boneless wings. So fresh and tasty! Above all, though, we were blown away by the service. Stopped in Friday around 4 and sat up at the bar for a flight. Everyone working was helpful and attentive! Friendly staff which made the visit enjoyable. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap with the Mac salad, honestly one of the best Chicken Caesars I've ever had! It was huge and there was a ton of Mac salad along side it. Pickle was tasty too! I love a good pickle after eating a sandwich. The beers were delicious, I really enjoyed the Pale Ale they have on tap currently and hope they keep it on (wink wink) it was very light and easy drinking. What I love most about this brewery is they are constantly coming out with new beers.
