Also Orlog (war) sauce... mayo, pinda sauce and onion is a GREAT choice... MMMMMMMM. A definitely MUST STOP when strolling around Groningen. The service system is very well organise.. queue to place your order at the counter.. wait for your delicious potato portion to be call!! They have seating inside and benches right outside the shop where you can sit while divorcing the deliciousness you ordered!!

While of course it is fast food, the food that is served in this KFC is very good. They make sure…read morethat the food has been properly cooked and you will not find any raw chicken in your order. The place has two floors which means there's always enough space for you to sit unless it is very very full. If you have a cup for your soda you even get a free refill from the soda tap. I do think the food is kind of expensive for a fast food chain. But this is just my personal opinion. After you've ordered your order arrives quickly and the whole place is neat and clean. Overall I recommends you go by this KFC if you crave to have fried chicken.

Wir waren auf unserem Borkum-Aufenthalt dreimal im Knurrhahn und haben sowohl die leckeren Fischbrötchen, als auch die Hauptgerichte (z.B. Fischplatte Küste & Meer) und die Empfehlungen des Inhabers (Spagetti mit Garnelen und Weißwein) probiert. Alle Gerichte waren wirklich sehr lecker, und vor allem: Egal wieviel gerade los war, Zeit den Teller noch mit frischem Dill oder Basilikum zu dekorieren oder jeden einzelnen Gast wirklich freundlich und individuell zu beraten blieb immer! Für mich sind es auch diese Details, die den Knurrhahn zum besten Fisch-Imbiss auf Borkum machen. Absolute Empfehlung! read more

Ich war mit meinen Kids 6 Tage auf Borkum und sind direkt am ersten Tag zufällig im Knurrhahn gelandet.. Fazit: Super! Lecker, sauber, die Jungs hinter der Theke sehr freundlich, Fisch wird frisch paniert und gebraten( keine Friteuse)... Nett arrangiert auf dem Teller.. perfekt... Meine Kinder wollten nur noch dahin und ich auch.. Wir waren dann jeden Tag dort essen und sind keinmal enttäuscht worden, egal was wir bestellt haben.. Aufgrund der Empfehlungen hier und auch durch Mundpropaganda haben wir den Knurrhahn aufgesucht. Super frische Gerichte, Salate sauber und "knackig". Herrliche Bratkartoffeln aus der Pfanne. Brötchen werden immer frisch gemacht, egal was darauf kommt und sind daher immer schön kross. Das Personal immer freundlich, auch bei Hochbetrieb. Hier einen Platz zu finden ist Glücksache, also haben wir immer unser Essen mitgenommen. Egal ob Calamaris, Pommes, Matjes, Backfisch oder die anderen leckeren Dinge die wir dort verspeist haben: alles war einfach super lecker! Das Team hinter der Theke ist super nett und arbeitet recht fix, so dass man nicht lange auf sein Essen warten muss. Eine absolute Empfehlung! read more
