After wasting a lot time, I finally went down to the Melaneros area of Maspalomas. I discovered a lovely galeria called Oasis Beach Boulevard Centro Commercial. There I looked at several stores before discovering the Klomoda Boutique which had a decent collection of two piece swimsuits with the tops in Cup Sizes to E. I don't know about you, but I am a Cup D with a very small ribcage and I almost never find swimwear that fits my curves. Here I found many styles and for only EUR35, - which is very inexpensive for the high quality in this small upscale boutique where you still have the sales people pull things off the rack for you and give you caring sales attention and help. The pareos were unique in quality too and only EUR19.- as they were all on sale. Ladies! Check this place out if you are as frustrated as I am with the horrible fit of most suits. I met the owner, who was passing by, and he also helped to serve me with great discretion and politeness. The shop is owned by a couple who actually work there. No corporate chain store here. Check it out! Also this whole area is charming and has good shopping if you want just about anything. And most stores are privately owned for a change. I loved it!

We went in whilst on a walk in the area and popped in to have a look at the huge display of leather belts and wallets. The prices are excellent - I paid 10 euro for a black leather belt which is fantastic quality and certainly better than anything I could have gotten for a comparable price back in the UK. The staff are very nice, not too pushy, and speak good English (though of course it is polite to say at least please and thankyou in Spanish). The shop is large and sells all manner of menswear, of course during the summer season most of this is shorts, shirts, t-shirts and swimwear. All of it is of a high quality and would make a lovely present. The store is situated in a small shopping plaza and is shaded from the sun. It has air con so shopping there is a nice cool experience (in fact you might not want to leave!). The range of shops is good, and well worth a visit (you do not need a car, you can easily walk there from most of the hotels in the area, or catch a taxt to the main shopping area). I would say this menswear shop is easily the nicest in the vicinity. If you are in the area and would like some good quality leather goods especially I would recommend 7 Camicie Menswear as a great place to look. Highly recommended as the belts I bought there 3 years ago are still going strong!

I am absolutely horrified by the customer service in this store . It took 4 people to be defensive…read more& abusive to me as I wanted a refund & they said they would not refund . I am concerned my sunglasses are not authentic . They said they never refund & they don't listen to the internet & they said I was in the wrong , they raised their voices & talked down to me . I'm not easily bullied but when 4 of them attached me I did walk out , I know I should have stood my ground but I did not want my holiday ruined anymore . Do not buy from this shop . It won't let me give no stars so I had to click one . The worst customer service in history & I used to manage a store

I have no idea why this place is called the Adventure Club Tenerife, since it is no more than a…read moresmall, posh shopping plaza, maybe they thought it would sound more attractive and interesting to the tourists! I visited there last year with my partner when we were having a general walk around the area. It's probably not somewhere I would go back home as it looks very expensive but for a bit of window shopping I thought, why not? So we went in and had a look. The choices seem to be high end jewelery and watches, designer outfits and shoes, and a parfumerie. Though the prices were indeed a lot higher than the rest of the (admittedly inexpensive) shops in the area they are very competitive with the UK, albeit not at the moment with the conversion rate. The shops sell brands such as D&G, Gucci, Chopard, Rolex etc, and all the higher end perfumes (and some more well known ones in the UK - Britney Spears for example). The sets seemed well priced, and I did purchase some aloe vera cream to soothe my partner's sunburn for 5 euro so not everything is ridiculously expensive. The area is gorgeous and there are a lot of funky little gadgets there, for example the escalators that only move when you step on them and set off a sensor (scared us at first!!). There is a cafe area but probably due to the prices it was very quiet and we didn't visit it. All in all the area was probably a lot quieter than we had expected for July, but it isn't near to the beach and there is little parking nearby so it has to rely on passing walking trade, and in the July heat there is not much of that in the middle of the afternoon in the baking heat. It does stay open until 10pm however so it is excellent for a walk around after dinner when all the diamonds and watches are lit up and sparkling. Worth a visit, but unless you are rather rich, it's window shopping for me :)
