If you don't speak German you will have little hope here :-) the ladies in the shop were super helpful and we managed to convey what we wanted and the lady that helped my wife kept bringing out stuff to try and she guessed her size right the first time. She was patient with us and tried to explain everything simply enough so we could understand and between us we were able to interpret almost all of it. There was one or two things she said that neither of us understood but the rest was fine :-) The choice here is extensive everything from simple to super elegant and prices ranging from cheap to expensive. The advertised prices were pretty reasonable and probably about 20-30% cheaper than stuff we had seen elsewhere in Munich. That meant that my wife ended up with two Dirndl's instead of one ;-)) I bought nothing but will come back to get myself fitted soon :-)) They have a whole floor of stuff for women and half a floor for men :-( the place was quite busy when we got there but they had enough staff to service all the customers in the shop. I will definitely come back here and whilst it is a bit further out I like the fact that most of their stuff is made in Germany or Austria and is of good quality and reasonable. The service is top notch and they were extremely helpful. That alone will being me back here :-) It's well worth the trip to Mammendorf to buy traditional wear.
