Two days later I picked it up. The handle was fixed, it opened and closed the door just fine. However whoever did the work gouged the plastic on the door attempting to remove the plastic plugs to get to the screws and ripped the fabric on the door. I showed the owner (refior) the damaged. He did not offer an explanation or apology for the damage nor did he offer to fix or pay for the damage. Just another example of their I don't care work.

Easy peasy (for them, not me!). I sked, "how much," and the owner said -- sit down,okay? -- nothing. (I couldn't bear it and give them some money.) Now I can't guarantee they'll work on your car late on a Friday and offer to work for free... But I will guarantee they'll do the job professionally and with a good attitude.

The shop there said it would take them a couple of weeks to get a rebuilt transmission if they could even find one. Someone recommended we try BG&S in North Platte, and they agreed to fix it, so we had it towed there. When James found out we were stranded far from home, he got us back on the road in a couple of days! We even have a warranty with the rebuilt transmission they installed that we can use in our home state. The price was very reasonable, and James explained to us in detail how and why our transmission failed, and gave us pointers on maintaining our "new" one. These guys really ARE good at what they do!
