I'm moving from WA state to NC. Needed help with getting my trailer balanced as I was unable to go over 55 mph without it swaying. Staff at Kohler assured me they would tend to it. I knew from the calls they were receiving thatvthey were understaffed but giving it their all to keep up with the workload. They simply asked me to be a little patient. Bearing in mind that I had pretty much just walked in, I tried to tell them that if given guidance I could make the necessary adjustments to the trailer. Staff were courteous and reassured me that while they were busy, they would definitely get to it. Sure enough, I was there for about 30 minutes (maybe not even that long) they got the adjustment knocked out and pointed out what was fixed. I can't express my gratitude enough online. We bought a vintage motorboat and boat trailer in Superior, Wisconsin and towed it back to Western Colorado. When exiting I-80 in North Platte, NE, I heard a thumping sound coming from the trailer. The trailer bearing had completely failed and the wheel was only hanging on by a thread. I got on the internet and found Kohler Trailer Sales and Service. I unhooked the trailer and drove over first thing in the morning and talked with Brad the manager. It was Friday and they were short staffed. They promised to get me right in and get me back on the road even though they were swamped. After towing the boat and trailer in, they diagnosed the problem and found that the axel spindle had been damaged beyond repair. They couldn't deal with it that day, but started working on it first thing Monday morning. They cut the axel in half and welded a new half on and installed new bearings and hubs on both sides, and also got my turn signals and brake lights going. Brad was sympathetic to our situation, communicated well, and came up with the best solution even though a new axel of the correct length for our vintage trailer could not be had. Labor and parts were very reasonable. Very friendly, responsive and competent service. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Traveling across the country pulling a 20' gooseneck trailer with a forklift. Noticed some smoke from the left side and suspected a brake licking up. Pulled over and the hub was coming off. Made several calls and ended up talking with Dianne and she took over. We got towed to Kohler Trailer and these guys are the bomb. If there were a higher rating I would give it!!! My daughter and I were traveling across the country hauling 2 horses when we were delayed by an unknown axle issue. After calling multiple shops in the area they ALL referred us to Kohler. We drove in and they immediately started to determine the problem. Once it was determined we needed a new axle they directed us to stabling for our horses, booked us for first thing in the morning and made sure we were set for the night. The next morning, they had us drive straight into the garage so they could start on it immediately. They completed the work quickly and had us on the road that day with much less cost than I anticipated. They inquired into our stay overnight and made sure we were treated well.
