In my personal experience, I have visited many churches in different cities in different states …read more I have not found a church anywhere, finer than the one in which I was baptized 86 years ago, St. Jerome Church, right here in East Rochester, N.Y. Oh yes! There are many much bigger, and more ornate perhaps, but my church is "home" to me. At the present time, we have so much going for us here, all positive. It's wonderful to see so many new young, growing families coming to church, and so many young servers in cassock and surplice (?spelling), serving the Mass. The different organizations that serve the church in many various ways, have also grown, including the K of C who have more than doubled their membership. These organizations have also served our community as well. Over the years we have had many pastors and associates, but our present Pastor, Fr. Leone, and Associate, Sr. Clare Brown, SSJ have served us well for many years and I wouldn't trade them for the world! I am positive that 99.9 % will tell you the same thing. (No one is perfect I guess and there's always going to be someone with some "undertone".) But I'm thinking I'd be happy with that percentage! We all know that only Jesus is perfect!!! "As good as it gets!" pretty much says it all !
