Seriously, the place is probably smaller than my living room, but I've spent well over an hour just checking out books and albums and I've barely scratched the surface! If you're looking for a rare book then check this place out. The owner is really friendly and keen to help if you're looking for something. If you're looking for a certain book or album, chances are it's here, he just needs to dig through the stock to find it. Come back in a week or so and it'll probably be there waiting for you to pick up. I just can't express how much I love this store. I don't always buy something, but it's a lot of fun wasting an afternoon ploughing through stock just to see what you might find. I always find myself thinking "wow I haven't seen that for years" or "I've never seen that before"

So much so, I hit the brakes and double back! This store is full of really great thrift finds. Everything from clothing, jewellery, records, home décor, shows, electronics, etc, etc... But, what you need to know is that the couple that run this store really do find some quality antiques. I can almost guarantee that you will leave with something. What are my fave finds here? Well, we picked up an awesome 80s style stereo system with a record player for $150. Winning! The lovely owner even chucked in a few free records for us to play. How nice is that? I have also found a number of home décor items. So, stuff like vases, plates and toys. If you like swing style dresses, you will find a bunch here that are new. I think that the owner is totally into the rockabilly style. Very nice and worth stopping by if you are in the area.

I love Vintage and old and as soon as I walked in to this shop it was full of jewellery and interesting old and vintage clothes. It was funny this was my first shop, first dress i tried on and bought it, a bargain too. The owner gave me a discount and I got my lovely grey and silver cocktail dress with stole and one of the bridesmaid dresses there too, very happy. They were very helpful and also have some lovely furniture too!

From Thelma South Australia…read more I just love Honey Hive Emporium - the staff are more than obliging and it is obvious that they love what they do. Each time I go into shop they allow me to browse at my own leisure and suggest to take my time so I feel I have all the time in the world. They also allow me my own time and if I need assistance then I will ask. Each time I visit they usually have something I like and it is always a temptation to purchase something and each time I do so I'm excited at what I have purchased. I love vintage clothing and all the accessories, etc that go with it and I, with my sister who comes with me on occasions ,have a fantastic time just looking at all the stock in the shop. The one thing that stays in my mind that each time I go in and purchase the staff mention that the main aim for them is that customer leaves the shop 'a very happy customer'. I definitely would say at this is so true as when I leave the shop I'm smiling all the way home. Well done to Honey Hive - you have got me as a regular and faithful customer.
