Very happy we came here. The art was so beautiful. They said no pictures so I didn't take any but man did I want to. So many beautiful pieces here. There were surfboards, metal items and of course beautiful pictures. The art was on the high side but it was nice. This place is well curated. I wanted to patronize this place but they didn't have many smaller items like jewelry to buy. That's the only small critique I have. I will definitely return here. read more

This is the gallery you should buy from, hands down. I bought my second Walfrido original (on koa wood). For that kind of money you want to be sure you can trust the gallery. You can 100% trust Victoria and her boss Mark. The reason I prefer this gallery over others is because the consultants. For example, Victoria literally picked out Several pieces that I fell in love with. No other gallery (Gupton and/or Gensis) is that invested in their clients to know EXACTLY what a client might like. She was spot on with what I was looking for and I cannot say enough good things. I trust Victoria and Mark with my life. So unprofessional. My husband and I came here tonight to enjoy the beautiful art, the gallery is gorgeous. We couldn't even pay attention to the art or the ambiance because the three employees were yelling at each other over a commission of a sale. They didn't stop or lower their voices as we tried walking through. No one said hello, and no one said goodbye as we left the gallery after 3 ish minutes of listening to their yelling. So unprofessional. I don't care if you argue in your time, but don't argue with paying customers around. I know good employees are hard to come by, but really people? And especially in a classy gallery, I expect more. read more

My son Brighton Blair and I stopped in the other night and met Victoria. Wow! Despite the fact that it was almost 9:00 pm, she enthusiastically greeted us and gave us a personal tour. While doing this, she graciously greeted every person who continued to walk in the door, so energetic and knowledgeable. I am blown away by her, to the point that I am writing this days later. We drove by this gallery leaving town one evening and it seemed so interesting, just from the road, that we parked again specifically to stop in. The focus is Hawaiian artists and scenery-not Wyland, which was great for me (since I'm not a fan of his particular work.) Their gallery space is well thought out and the sales staff was helpful and informative but not pushy. It was fun to browse the tiki art, island scenery paintings and unique glassware. Make this part of your stops in Kona if you like to see what local galleries have to offer. read more

We loved visiting and seeing all of Walfrido's paintings. Aaron was such an amazing person to work with and showed us all of the lighting differences. The woman however made me feel unwelcome. We bought 3 beautiful pieces of art from this gallery - all sand art from artist Wang. We love the intricate and delicate artwork, however, one of the sand paintings is showing distress - it is showing white spots where the sand has fallen off. We contacted the gallery in good faith to inquire about its restoration. Apparently, according to the owner, artist Wang has a new policy "she no longer repairs her work." Had we known the beautiful artwork would begin to deteriorate over time, we would not have purchased them. read more

I would definitely recommend this gallery! I was impressed by the variety of artists that are featured in the gallery, very unique and beautiful, there is something for everyone. The staff was so professional, knowledgeable and caring. They really strive to make you feel comfortable and were not pushy sales people. My purchases were a combination of things. They have everything from art to jewelry to little souvenirs that are easy to carry on and take home. They also ship worldwide. One piece that was shipped was very affordable, it was nice to know that my purchase would be fully insured as well. I was shown several pieces from the wall, what a fun and interactive experience! Do not trust this gallery, especially the owner Marc Hanna. He's a dirty car salesman and he would lie through his teeth to get your money. My mother-in-law and her husband (with me and my husband) visited the gallery in late October and they bought of the big picture artwork that they liked from there. Marc personally came out to sell it to them because as he was saying it was a "significant sale" in terms of the cost of the artwork. As we were wrapping up the transaction he was saying that a new piece will be delivered in 4-6 weeks (not the one they had on display), they will be sure to give my MIL a tracking number for the shipping as soon as the piece gets shipped which he said will be as soon as possible and will not take a week, and since the piece was big, it will be shipped in a huge crate to assure the piece will not be damaged during shipping. Well Thanksgiving came and went and no tracking number, no shipment, no email or call came from the gallery or from Marc and my MIL had to call them to ask what's happening. She had to call a couple of times before she even had could speak with someone who can tell her what's going on, they pretty much just kept on telling her that they would call her back as soon as they know something. What she was told was it was the artist's fault for not shipping the piece right away when they gave him the order as soon as they could and that it's all the artist's fault and they will make sure that the artists ships it right away and that they would send her a tracking number as soon as that happens. Another few weeks went by with no word from them so my MIL followed up with a phone call to the galley again. This time she absolutely asked to speak with Marc Hanna the owner of the gallery so she could tell him of their dissatisfaction. Marc said the artist was going to ship the new piece but was just having trouble finding a crate big enough to fit the artwork in, hence the delay. She was once again promised that it will be shipped soon and a tracking number will be sent to her. Another couple of days went by again and nothing. She called again and was told that yes it's going to be shipped the following day and a tracking number is following. When the shipment finally arrived, it was on an ordinary TV box not the crate that Marc promised, and even worse was the fact that it was the same piece on display on their gallery when they were promised that a new piece will be produced and shipped to them. When my MIL sent Marc an email asking for an explanation, he said that since everything was "taking too long" nowadays that they have decided to just send them the display piece and that if they are not satisfied with the piece that they can send it back but to make sure it is packaged the same professional way as when it was shipped. Wowwww. Do not trust this gallery. They purchased another piece from a gallery in Hilo during the same Hawaii trip to gift to us and they were much more professional and delivered in everything they promised. We got our piece within 3 days of their purchase, very nicely packaged and even with some personal touch from the artist. read more

This is about their cafe not the gallery. I have never seen or experienced such horrible service and behavior. My family and I ordered 2 hamburgers and 2 bagels along with some drinks. We were the only customers there and after an hour they still did not have the food or drinks out to us. We asked where they were and the worker was horribly rude. A screaming match started and the worker named Andy. He even pushed my dad and threw a water bottle. The other people in the area came up to us and told us that we were in the right and that he was rude and acting insane. He ended up not even giving us half of our order in the end. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE EVER. UNLESS YOU WANT TO NOT GET YOUR FOOD AND GET TREATED LIKE TRASH FOR INQUIRING ABOUT IT. read more

Mike, our salesman, was very nice and knowledgeable about the art and the artist. They were very accommodating in shipping our new art work to the mainland. Was checking out some really coolimages in the store. The owner (I guess) was training someone in a very loud voice nearby, and asked if I wanted to know how the images were made, I told him no, I knew and just wanted to take a look at them and he got all pissy and told me I was in HIS house. I told the guy I just wanted to take a look (really didn't need some random dude shouting at me about how an image was photoshopped).. He seemed very agitated and i think he was maybe high on something. Art looks good but staffing / owner like that not worth dealing with. I was loving what I was seeing was gonna buy the work but not gonna support that kind of behavior. I would say lookey but no buy-ey here. read more

The gallery is nice, however, it has been over 3 weeks since I purchased a photo from them and they still haven't shipped it. I called a week ago and was told it would be shipped last week, I called again this week and am now being told that it will be shipped at the end of this week. Not good customer service.
