The worst bithday cake one can get in the world! Ordered a day before and got something horrible coated with cream and only decorated.

Considering this is the only Persian bakery I know of in Dusseldorf (and the first one I've ever been to) I'm rating it 5 stars - simply because I have nothing to compare it to; Plus I love the exotic mix of nuts, rose and orange blossom water and powered sugar in my baked goods. Of the 5 different items I ordered, everything seems to be freshly baked and really delicious. Unfortunately i can't remember the names, but it came with Persian chai (tea) which I consumed (all) in a matter of minutes. I noticed that some of the Persian desserts were very similar the Indian sweets I've had (e.g., Indian "jalebi" funnel cake, etc). Definitely on my list of places to visit again. read more

worst experience ever! The owner got upset and made rude comments because we were buying more than 2 kilos. One hour before closing time! Never again. I hope there will be a new Persian Bakery in town. she was truly a nut job. I literally had to walk out without making any ride comment to her. read more
