But, I was surprised. It is authentic! they had ramen and sushi and sashimi. The sushi and sashimi served was fresh and very nice presentation. The entrees are expensive which means the all you can eat is honestly the way to go- it's not cheap (125 reals) but it is good. You get so many choices and there's something for all. I loved the spring rolls and dumplings. The sushi is fresh and fast. The do bring you less than you order which feels a bit snakey to me but I'm sure it's because some people order too much. I'm not a huge fan of all you can eat because I feel that it makes me eat a lot but if you're hungry it's a win. I ordered some caipis but they tasted pretty watery and took forever. However, the quality has drastically declined. I was recently flying through Brasilia and ordered 10 pieces of salmon nigiri as well as a salmon tirashi bowl. The pictures on the menu looked really good but sadly, the nigiri did not resemble anything like the picture. The rice was shaped like a rectangular box and the pieces of salmon were cut in rectangular shapes. They looked like they were just thrown on top of the rice. The rice itself looked like it was cooked in some sort of form that would give it the rectangular shape. I'm sorry but you might be able to fool Brazilians with this crap but not me. The worst part was that the rice was piping hot which is a complete no-no. I couldn't eat this and tried to just eat the salmon piece on top but even that was difficult as it was hot from the rice. I then moved to the tirashi bowl which was slightly better. The rice itself wasn't hot but the raw pieces of salmon were. I have no idea how they were able to do this but it was not good. I ended up tossing this as well. I will never come back to this location. The quality has completely declined and the prices are super high. Not worth the time nor money for this crap. I ended up going to McDonalds and getting 2 quarter pounders because whatever Koni was serving me was not Sushi and would never be accepted in any Japanese sushi restaurants. Also, they don't accept Amex.
