I am really a scaredy cat,…read morescared of needles, of the drills, of the waiting room, and HATED the dentists back home in Ireland. And, then, one day in cold November 2012, I plucked up the courage and visited this surgery. WOW! It is really amazing there. The receptionist speaks English really well, as does the hygienist who dealt with me [ although I insisted on trying out my Deutsch with her, and she was really patient with me being both nervous about the procedures and my language skills :)]. A huge plus was the way that the hygienist explained exactly what each instrument did and how it would sound or feel before she used it. Okay, this might be the technique used with small children too... but it was so reassuring for this nervous newbie! The dentist himself was charming too. The waiting room had the usual magazines, kids toys etc, but as a really nice touch, a coffee machine/ tea making facilities, and chilled Sekt if you felt so inclined. The waiting time was low [ 5 mins max] and the entire place has the feel of a friendly community, with everyone, patients and staff alike, smiling. I floated out of there, feeling super happy with the entire experience. I've been recommending them to all my English speaking friends here. A super experience!

Everything is absolutely clean and very hygenic and the waiting room is very friendly.

The practice is well equipped, receptionists are nice, Dr Jenik is friendly and competent. However, he has many patients and doesn't really have much time to take care of really sensitive patients, at least not as much as I need ;) he is competent though and does a good job.

The receptionist / assistance is young but nice and always friendly. Waiting times vary from 5 - 40 minutes. Dr. Tremmel herself is very competent, doesn't rush you if you need a minute, is very calming and you feel well looked after. So if you don't like going to dentists, she is really good!!! Especially her main dental assistant who does all the hygiene appointments is really good as well. Your teeth might hurt a bit afterwards and it takes at least 30 minutes depending on the state of your teeth, but boy is it worth it. Your teeth and your mouth is so clean, feels like new ;) Only downside, its expensive :(

Dr. Phil speaks very good English and has a wonderful sense of humor, but most importantly he is very professional and even managed to make me feel comfortable while he pulled out two of my teeth. It's scary to be sick while traveling. Everyone at the Zahnambulatorium was so kind and helpful. Dr. Stefanie Mullner-Salzl performed the root canal. It was virtually painless and cost Euro 32, that's right Americans Euro 32. I just saw my Endodontist who confirmed that Dr. Mullner-Salzl did a fabulous job. Highly recommend!!!!
