KORI is ABSOLUTELY delicious! I have officially gotten food from here on 2 occasions and have been blown away each time. The first was surprisingly for some of the BEST breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I ordered a sausage, bacon egg and cheese on a Kaiser bun and was blown away. We ordered the food to go due to COVID and it was still very fresh when we got home. The second visit was for dinner and may I say that the beef bibimbap was AMAZING! My boyfriend ordered the LA Short Rib bento box and I couldn't stop taking bites. Other notable dishes were the miso soup, and sides! Everyone loved their choices. Kori is worth the visit, and is a permanent member of my rotation. read more

Like others said, Kimey , the owner and cook, is very friendly; always greets us and give extra side dishes for us when she's around. This was an excellent Korean restaurant. Very authentic and there were only Koreans for dinner the night I went, except for my son who is half Korean. The inside looks like the type of traditional Korean restaurants I used to eat at in NJ in the 1990's. I saw sullontang on the menu and had to have it after watching Nation of Broth on Netflix. It was good but I do think the gochujang helped. The owner told me the milky broth takes 3 days to make. She also recommended tendon stew so I will have to try that if I ever get a chance to go back.( I don't live in PA.) Since I also watched Extraordinary Attorney Woo on Netflix, I ordered the kim bap. It was very good, as far as kim bap goes. It's not sophisticated food. My mother used to make this all the time and it reminded me of my childhood. My son had the kimchi jigae and he said it was very good. It's quite a lot of food when you add the rice but he ate it all. The banchan, side dishes, were a bit limited compared to other restaurants and most were too spicy for me, but they were tasty. The complimentary pineapple for dessert was a nice finish to the meal. I had my hesitations about this place, the outside looks unassuming, but that's what I get for judging by appearance of the place. Best Korean food in the area. Everything made on premises and authentic. They brought us free hot tea and water immediately. We ordered the crunchy chicken appetizer, and it was huge! The meat was all white meat, and the honey, soy sauce with sesame was so delicious. We ordered for our entrées, kimchi soup came with side of rice, beef bulgoli bento box, and a hot beef bibimbab bowl. The bento and bowl both came with miso soup, and all of us got Bonchon/sides and japhche. The service and staff was excellent! And the owner Kim came to our table several times. She offered us more sides as well as gave us ice cream for dessert, She was so friendly, and even took the time to ask all of our names and had a nice conversation before we left. My 81-year-old Korean mom is visiting me from California for 3rd time. She has visited my brother in Hawaii many times and had Korean food from many restaurants. Yesterday was first time she enjoyed the food. She was amazed at how her soup was "authentic":) The owners, the staff was so friendly, and helpful! My mom has difficult time chewing at times, and they made her food extra soft just for her!! Not only food was delicious, but restaurant was so clean!! I would definitely go back, and I recommend everyone to try this restaurant. This was my first taste of Korean BBQ & it was incredible. Kimey (she makes the kimchi!) & the entire Kori staff was incredibly inviting & accommodating. The food was delicious & perfectly cooked. We started with the the shrimp tempura roll which was worlds better than other sushi places in the Lansdale area (we'll be back for more sushi for sure). We also had what I believe was the "Fried Mandu (dumplings)" which were delicious (who doesn't like dumplings!?). They patiently waited for us to finish our "appetizers" before bringing out the BBQ on sizzling pans. I can't sing the praises of this place enough but I insist you try on your own. We found Kori in Lansdale today for a late lunch/ early dinner and are so happy with this family owned Korean restaurant. The food and service was out standing. Reminded me the many home cooked meals my friends family had shared with me. Reasonable prices and excellent quality. Our server Michele was a delight. Enjoyed everything from the hot tea and special kimchi, pickled daikon, seaweed salad, cellophane noodle other pickled vegetables and fruits. We ordered the dumplings and the fried chicken with a a sweet and spicy sauce. We also ordered the Spicy Beef Soup and the Cod stew which were served with optional rice. Michelle also brought us a ginger rice slushy drink at the end as an added sweet end to an excellent meal. So delicious, we will return soon to support this locally owned family business. The food here is excellent! My boyfriend goes here for breakfast at least 3 days a week and always raves about it. He and his colleagues say it's the best breakfast in town! We decided to try it out for dinner and we were not disappointed! The food is so authentic and full of flavor! My daughter has to be one of the pickiest children on earth. She complained the whole way there saying she wasn't hungry. We get there and she ordered the teriyaki chicken. There wasn't a single piece of chicken left on her plate when she was done! The beef short ribs and spicy beef soup were also excellent. We asked what they recommended and they even explained how to eat it the traditional way. The family who owns Kori are incredibly friendly and seem like wonderful people. We will definitely be going back for dinner and breakfast! read more

I passed Kori today, and thought I'd head in and check it out. My buddy and I started out with the fried dumpling appetizer, and it was really good. The unassuming and downright cozy aesthetic that this place has, is the third best thing going on at Kori. First, the food. Absolutely perfect. Got a pork rice bowl and some fried dumplings. The crispy and flavorful dumplings have permanently ruined me for the average dumplings most places have. And the rice bowl had perfectly spicy pork and the best crispy rice I've ever had. Everyone working there is ridiculously kind and attentive. I don't think my drink ever got less than halfway empty when someone came to give me a refill. And, they made sure everything was great without being overbearing. And the price is insanely low for the quality of food. Everything was fresh and crisp, the kimchi was refreshing and the pork was nothing but an explosion of flavor. I'll definitely be coming back soon. read more

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the whole experience left us feeling that we had just taken a brief trip to South Korea.
