This place is a DISASTER & has the most horrible customer service I've ever seen in my life. Yes,…read morethe Maid of Honor is an employee, but her treatment of the situation & the owner's as well give this joke of an establishment an even worse representation. I live in Chicago, but most of the wedding's attendants live in town so I need to get my own measurements & take the time to make sure everything on my end is covered. I work with Bride & MOH via email to pick 1 of 5 dresses Bride wants her maids to wear, then hand off my measurements to MOH & pay half the deposit, as she claims dresses take up to 3 months to complete. A few days after that, MOH tells me my measurements are wrong & I must have measured badly. Ok, I know I'm short, somewhat busty, & overweight in certain areas, but I never thought I was too big to fit any dress when there are others out there that are much larger than me. She swears my measurements don't fit anything in their catalogs, but I've seen bridezillas 3 times my size so I really don't believe her crap. MOH insists she found a dress that'll fit me but doesn't give myself nor Bride much more detail to it. I figured she couldn't be that big of an idiot to screw up a dress. An unfortunate series of events leads to the wedding being called off. Bride & I exchange phone calls, but she tells me she isn't sure where her MOH has been. I apologize in advance, but ask about my deposit because I don't want a dress I can't use. She was told the deposit was already used in making my dress. So a string of Facebook messages later, MOH tells me I'm accusing her of stealing when all I want to know is how she made a dress when I was told my measurements were not compatible. To finalize this, I say I'll just pay for it, thinking maybe I can wear it to another wedding? I don't feel Bride should suffer anymore & I don't want her to pay for it, so I'll just buy the stupid thing. I visited Bride in November, who says she'll get the dress for me as she needs to discuss other bridesmaid dresses, as none of them were paid for by the others. Her MOH isnt there, but the owner, Connie Fleming, complains loudly to Bride that she can't get rid of the other dresses since they haven't been paid for & her money is going to waste. Are you kidding me - she's going through an emotional train wreck & you've decided to bitch about her dresses? Go find a soap box, you idiot, but don't complain to her who now obviously knows you don't give a damn about her as a customer. Bride gets the dress, pays it with her credit card, then leaves, near tears. I get home & wow, it's not even the dress I saw of pics in the email. The dress I picked had shoulder straps where this monster was a tube top with ruffled waist. It zips up easily enough, but seemed loose so I ask my BF to finish the zip but he says it's already done. I look at the bust, & surprise! It's 2 cups too freaking big. I gave my measurements as a C-cup & they decided D-cups would work better? Are you freakin kidding?? Not only that, there are white deodorant stains within the dress that I certainly never tried on. Now, I am furious. I return to Lafayette a week later, Bride & I meet at the shop, armed with emails, credit card receipts, and pics. How convenient, MOH isn't there again, but I finally meet Connie, who says "I don't know if you actually bought this dress here. Do you have a receipt?" Bride shows credit card bill, but Connie insists that it's the right dress that MOH entered into the system, that we need to wait for MOH to come back from vacation. Bride tells Connie, "Kristine's from out of town & she shouldn't have to wait to get the right dress; can she just get her money back?" Connie has the nerve to say, "I don't know that you didn't purchase that dress so we need to wait for MOH and I'm not going to call her while on vacation, that's rude." WOW, WTF, SERIOUSLY?? So WE call her on her cell. She ignores my call SEVERAL times, so Bride texts her and MOH has the nerve to respond that she's on a plane coming home from vacation & can't answer my calls. Exactly how are you texting if you're on a plane several thousands of feet in the air? She even asks, "Can you tell Kristine to stop calling me because I can't pick up?" We tell her that we have emails proving she entered the wrong dress & I don't want the monstrosity she created for me; she claims she'd pay me out of her own pocket, which indicates admitting guilt. We showed the texts & emails to Connie, who still won't give me a refund but says I can look around & trade, which she admitted trying to sell hence the pit stains. Ugh. Only giving us 25 minutes, I find a dress that somewhat fits me & it's cheaper than the dress I paid for. I get a refund on difference & a dress I don't even want to look at. Even better, she short changed me $10! I plan to report Chiffon Bridals to the Better Business Bureau and am HOPING to shut them down. They shouldn't be allowed to ruin weddings!

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. The customer service was absolutely AWFUL. My friends…read moreand I were using Chiffon to order bridesmaids dresses. When we went in we had to place our orders without even being able to see the style in person, try a dress on, or even know the PRICE. When asking for help, an older women (whom I presume to be the owner) told us that she was "relying on us for the information" about the dresses as she put our order in. I thought this would be her job?? She didn't even try to look up the dresses, so later that night I did some researching online and found out the dress I ordered did not come in the right color (same case with one of the other girls). I called back the same day I had been in and all she said was, "yeah, I thought that might be the case." Really?! What kind of business owner can make it when they act like this? Fast forward and we find out the dresses were ordered a FULL MONTH after all 4 bridesmaids had ordered/paid for our dresses. Needless to say, not at all satisfied with this business, will never use again, and will make sure to tell all of my friends to stay away! Not worth the hassle.
