Our son has been going to her for almost 4 months now and he loves it; it is so hard to get him to leave her house. I love the openness and transparency with Sandra. She welcomes you into her home and talks to you about your child and their day. She is loving, consistent, and really engages with the kids; from teaching, to arts and crafts, playing outside, and dancing. And best of all she teaches and encourages manners and respect! She also makes the kids nutritious and healthy meals/snacks. We absolutely love Sandra and highly recommend her.

The owners and teachers really care about child development, and it shows in the way they interact with the kids. They also focus on serving a wide variety of nutritious and mostly organic food. It is a daycare I trust and whose mission I believe in. They have also created a strong community of parents, teachers, and kids with picnics, fundraisers, a garage sale, and the like. The location just north of downtown is really convenient. I highly recommend them.

When my wife went in to request information, the worker on duty was very rude bordering on openly hostile. She questioned my wife as to why we were switching daycares, opining that we must have had difficulties with our former daycare, or else we wouldn't be switching. When my wife tried to explain that 1.) the lady that had been watching our daughter was pregnant with her 2nd child and just couldn't keep up with 3 children and 2.) we had just moved to Ellettsville from Bloomington and were looking for a daycare closer to home, the worker on duty snapped that there must be some other reason that we were switching. To be questioned like that is extremely insulting and doesn't speak well of how the workers at Jack and Jill probably treat other parents and their children.

I have randomly picked them up and dropped them off and have never seen any issues that suggest that there is a lack of quality of care. However, I have seen parents that can be rude and overly using of the care that is provided here. This place has people that are working to provide a safe place for kids to be when away from parents. I truly believe that they all care about the kids here and work to make it interesting and fun. I am not sure about the reviews below, but they seem to be from a really long time ago and not what I have experienced today.
