She was very knowledgeable about all of the different perfumes that the store had to offer. She did such a great job that I ended up buying the perfect perfume for myself as well. Service was nice and they had a great selection, but 50 euro for a belt??? Sheesh, Ludwig, if you're going to screw me like that at least buy me dinner or a drink before hand. I do like the belt, though. They have a subterranean entrance so you can enter right from the U Bahn without going outside.

My fiancé and I are from the States and took our engagement photos in Munich. I looked to Yelp for…read moresalons around the Marienplatz (city center). I didn't realize a lot of the salons in Munich are closed on Monday's. Luckily, Kryolan is open and I settled on Kryolan for make-up because of the good rating. I emailed Kryolan to make an appointment for make-up only and Saskia emailed me back and let me know she could also do my hair too (score!) so I got both done. I arrived at the appointment early and was greeted with a nice cup of coffee. Saskia saw me almost right away. I can speak a little bit of German and was a bit worried about the language barrier. Saskia could also speak a little bit of English. I think we communicated pretty well. Everything turned out great. I was there for about two hours and got a "natürlicher" make-up look and my hair curled. I usually don't wear much make-up and having foundation on is very rare for me. My make-up looked professionally done but it wasn't too much (which is exactly what I wanted!). The salon was professional and very clean. Saskia even helped me hail a taxi when I was leaving. The hair and make-up came out to be 98€ (before tip) which I thought was fair considering that is probably the amount I would pay at home. Overall, a great experience. If I ever need make-up or hair done again in Munich, I will definitely come back.
