We got the Napkins burger with the brussel sprouts being the star. The brussels come with pineapple thai chili sauce, but we liked the brussels without it and opted to use the delicious sauce as a dip for our french fries. The burger was tasty, but nothing out of this world. It was cooked perfectly and I liked the Napkins famous sauce on it. The only thing was that the burger kept slipping out of the bun and it was very messy to eat as we kept putting the burger back together. The shawarma with chicken thigh was delicious. I would pair this with the brussels next time and you'd have a winning combination. The fries were good too, but the brussels are the winning side choice. Glad we stopped by on our road trip for a satisfying and filling lunch. It's worth the stop and everything tastes fresh and is well worth the price. The brewery is not Napkins, but the staff inside behind the bar was super helpful and more than happy to let my husband try the beers before making his choice. Unfortunately, my interaction with Jesse completely changed my impression. He came across as condescending and unnecessarily rude while explaining their return policy. He repeatedly referred to it as a "24-hour policy," even though it had not been a full 24 hours since my purchase. He also remarked that returning a sandwich after "a whole day" was "crazy" and made it sound like honoring the return was a one-time exception. I understand that businesses have return policies, and I respect that. My issue wasn't with the policy itself--it was with the way I was spoken to. There is a professional way to explain a policy without making a customer feel like they're doing something unreasonable. I want to emphasize that the rest of the deli staff were courteous and helpful. My complaint is solely about Jesse and how he handled the situation. I hope management addresses the customer service aspect so that future customers are treated with the same respect shown by the rest of the staff.

The wider aisles and generally low shopper density make for a relatively pleasant shopping experience. There were a few conscientious objectors to mask-wearing among the customers. I've been to Fresh Markets in a variety of locales, and this was easily one of the best. They were in stock on almost everything, and they had nice-looking vegetables and plenty of esoteric items on sale. It happens far too often to me here (and elsewhere) that I roam around the shelves without a basket or cart but end up having to go back for something to carry my haul with. From a vegetarian/vegan perspective, I found good almond milks, and some egg substitutes as well, but I was really surprised at how small the tofu and fake meat section was. Not that these things are even really my jam, but I wandered around the store several times before I found the tiny section of freezer with Hodo products in it. Dirtbags came to our rescue and said that they would be the hub for our crowd coming through and they did that by changing their hours of operation to accommodate the guests that we're passing through the place technically is a bar, but it has a total family atmosphere and they operate like family. They started as two veterans with a vision and they have a heart of gold.
