We had our bathroom and kitchen remodeled through this company. They were very polite, and easy to work with. Debbie really helped and was very kind. Phil was very polite and respectful while doing the work. At first, we were very pleased with the work, which was done in June of 2021. However, after about 5 months or so, the floating vinyl flooring started to come up in places in the kitchen. We reached out, as we were surprised that it was coming up already, after only a few months of being installed. We were told at first that most likely our house foundation had shifted, which would cause the floor to come up. Keep in mind, we are on a concrete slab, and the same exact flooring that was put in by the front door and in the bathroom was not coming up. We were then told that it was most likely because there is a sliding glass door in the kitchen, which could cause the floor to come up. This also did not sit well with us, as I have known plenty of people that had floors installed in an area with a sliding glass door, and the floor didn't start coming up 5 months later. Additionally, at no point was this communicated to us while picking out the floor, install, or upon payment. After we didn't except this answers, Keith agreed to send someone out to look at the floor. But he sent the guy who originally installed the floors.. So, the guy who messed up the floors originally is supposed to fix them now? No surprise, he glued it down which laster about 48 hours. Maybe. Additionally, there was absolutely no follow up to see if the problem had been fixed. Not to mention there are gaps in the floor and wall in spots where the floor guy did not measure correctly, I have the pics below. Overall super unhappy that I paid 21 thousand dollars and ill have to get my kitchen floor replaced relatively soon. There seems to be no guarantee of work from this company, and Keith just didn't really seem to care to make things right with the family that wrote him a 21 thousand dollar check. It is what it is, but I will not be having them redo my closets as I had planned, and I can never suggest them as an option to anyone I know. It may seem harsh, but that is how I feel. Their estimator came over without a mask on. I had mine on and asked her if she would go put one on. She refused and also said she's not vaccinated and is not going to get vaccinated. I asked if any of her employees wear masks and she said she doesn't require them. She made the false claim that 80% who get sick have mild symptoms!!! She also stated that anti Vaccers are afraid of Vaccers because we shed some toxic...bla, blah, blah...I cut her off and told her "QAnon conspirators aren't allowed in here" and shut the door on her. read more

Unfortunately, very disappointed with work performed by KP Design. I had two bathroom remodeled and my ceiling drywall repaired, floated and textured. I had numerous problems with poor workmanship (leaks, bad caulking, lack of requested insulation) in the bathrooms during the process and had many items that had to be redone, some a few times. The drywall work was/is substandard with the outline entire sheets of drywall visible to the eye. Texturing is inconsistent both in the new areas and when abutting existing wall texture. While Keith is very personable, he lacks the follow-through to ensure the job is completed in a workman-like manner. He kept sending the same worker(s) back to make repairs/corrections, but did not come himself to see if the work was performed adequately. I would also like to mention, that the glowing review from Debbie M., which I considered when I was looking for a contractor, should be disregarded and she works for K.P. Design. read more

When my kitchen floor got soaked with a water leak, I started calling to get bids. Well I'm a retired senior and I live in a mobile home, so the big guys don't even get back to me. But KP Design did and said they'd come out for a free estimate. My previous licensed contractor experienced pro gave me the high bid. When Keith came, he asked how I wanted to do this - just the basic repairs or full remodel. I'm low-income as many seniors are, living on just our Social Security after working our whole lives. I told him just the basics. Then he asked if he could poke a hole in the floor - by my dishwasher and under my sink. No one else asked that. So, he found the problem, fixed the leak, and put in a plywood temp floor, while informing me this really was an insurance claim. And it was. The insurance company delayed sending out an adjuster because of Hurricane Maria on the east coast. Keith called me every couple of days to check in, and worked with the insurance company's demands. Then, even through our own climate crisis Camp Fire, he stayed in touch. When the insurance money finally came, even having to evacuate a couple of times, K&P did the work I wanted and nothing I didn't, and did a fast super detailed great job. I haven't written a review like this before, but this exceptional service and quality and kindness compelled me to write this one. All the folks who work at KP Design and Construction are all really polite and kind and work professionally and clean up behind themselves. I am recommending them to all my friends and tell everybody who asks. KP turned my nightmare leak into a happy ending. I trust KP and will hire them again whenever I need repairs or remodels. 5 star service at KP! read more

KP design was great! We did a lot of remodeling in our new house after losing our home in the paradise campfire. The whole crew was very sensitive to our needs and what we wanted. Debbie was awesome at helping us pick colors for the quartz countertops,paint and grout that would compliment the colors we already had in the house. We had no clue where to start with the colors. They used top of the line materials which was important to me. Matt the tile guy was fun to work with. He was very meticulous in his work and fun to talk with. All the workers cleaned up after themselves when finishing for the day. So all in all a good experience. read more

The owner responded to me yesterday in the morning and gave me a price what it would cost and was very reasonable and was there between 2:30 - 3 pm and he arrived at that time. I was very impressed. I would definitely call him again and have already recommended him. I needed a leaky faucet replaced. He does all kinds of jobs remodels plumbing windows etc. read more
