YAS ! This is fun ! My dietitian. Told me I need to be more mindful of eating. Cooking your own food is definitely a way to be more mindful. I hit up a TON of protein AND fiber. I got to make my own sauce which gave me a little more control of what I'm putting in. The food is all fresh, some have marinades. And it all turns out delightful !!! Yes it's all you can eat. If you have plenty of extra you can pay to take stuff home. So pay attention to what you're ordering and amounts. Some items you order "1" of you get 1. Other items you order. Complementary ice cream cups or popsicle is also included at the end. The drinks here are limited and I would skip the boba here. Great place but there are limited tables for large groups. I really liked my experience here. The seating was like in there larger booths, and I didn't feel crushed like other KBBQ places. I was also close enough to the grill that I could reach the food. That has been a problem in the past. Ordering is through the app, which saves time. People were very fast, there were no robots for delivery. All of the meat was very fresh and delicious. The grill was very hot, so the food cooked quickly. I've had problems with that in the past. Hot pot was also very quick to heat. The server was very kind and went over everything with us. While I have a lack of photos from my visit, I don't have a lack of opinion. First off, the place has a decent parking lot. The entrance to the building honestly seemed a bit small and hidden in a sense. Once inside, it felt compact. No large waiting area. You are seated quickly, varying how busy they are. It feels like they're in a rush , and I really wish that somebody sat down with us to kind of help us figure out what we were doing. This happens to be my second time going there , and I have to say that i'm actually disappointed on the second time versus the first time. The first time overall was better service. I'd like to think better food but the portion sizes were different between both times. There is a 2 hour limit stay. Overall I do enjoy the ability to make your own hotpot. They have a section for making your own sause with a ton of labeled options, which I find very neat! A few other options for sides, which are alright. Not as impressed with those options. However, to mention something I was impressed with again, everything looked to be clean and well kept. Total cost was $80 for two people. I suggest you arrive with a large appetite to get your money's worth. At the end if the day, this place is a specialty and not a place you could frequent easy. Kpot always leaves me in a total food coma. Seriously, beware you will stink of smoke and meat after, but it's totally worth it. Never tried the hot pot yet, but I love that you can make your own sauce and go wild with flavors. Pork belly is hands down my favorite and their sides are sooo good too, like, you'll want seconds. Food: 5/5 they offer various broths for hotpot including a distinct gluten free option. You order off an iPad and all items are clearly labeled (again with GF distinctions). This made it easy to navigate what proteins, veggies and noodles we wanted. They also had a sauce making station that allowed you to create dips or grab additional hotpot inclusions. Service: 5:5, Our server was knowledgeable, informative and did fantastic and ensuring we never ran out of broth or over boiled our broth during dinner. Business: 5/5, I felt pricing for just hot pot was reasonable at 23.99/pr and for $5 more- you could add Korean BBQ. Came here on two different occasions. First occasion was for the Kbbq during dinner. The place was packed but fortunately we had a reservation, so we did not have to wait long. The inside of the restaurant was clean and you could smell the meat grilling from all directions (in a good way!). Prices are reasonable at 32.99, and the meat quality is a hit. Ordering is done on a tablet they provide you. The meat selection was respectable and the grill was large enough to comfortable feed 5 people at a steady pace. The vegetables were good as well, the only gripe I had was that the portion size was inconsistent with how many "orders" you place. At the end they give you a choice of ice cream or an orange creamsicle. A month later I came here to try the Hot Pot during lunch. The place was again packed. AYCE hotpot for 21.99 is a great deal. I got the healthy herb broth which was nice and herby, and slightly rich tasting from the chicken base. My partner got the tom yum which was flavorful and had a nice punch of acidity like classic tom yum. The meat and veggies were standard. My favorite part of hot pot, the sauce bar, was a bit of a disappointment however. The staple condiments like chinese bbq sauce and sesame sauce were not stirred very well before being placed out, so it was like 80% oil and 20% of the actual sauce, so the sauces ended up tasting pretty oily. Thankfully the broths are flavorful enough we didn't need the sauce to enjoy the food. Overall would definitely come back for the kbbq, but not so much for the hot pot! read more

It's a good spot if you want KBBQ and the price is reasonable for all you can eat. Not a fan of their hotpot, but I enjoy their kbbq. They also serve raw oysters during dinner time. You get 3 pieces per person. Make sure you ask for an extra cup of water so you can rinse your oysters! Service is quick and servers are nice. Sometimes you can walk in but if you plan to go during dinner you definitely need to make a reservation! I just wish that their vents were bigger because it can get very smokey. read more

Kpot hits the spot!! They have tons of choices for the all you can eat hot pot. I like that it's also individual hot pots. The portions they give are legit and you can just keep ordering as you go via an iPad at the table. They have a DIY sauce bar for your hot pot, and some appetizers on the line included in the hot pot order. The server asked if we wanted ice cream at the end and we weren't sure if it was included at that point but we were so full we couldn't do it. I think the reason I knocked it down a star is because I have had better hot pot in Minneapolis (Le'Pot) that gives more broth and when I order the Szechuan spicy broth I expect spicyyyy which it was still good here but not the spicy I was looking for. I was impressed by the flavor of the marinades with the beef options. The Korean Galbi and bulgogi were especially tasty. Ordering straight from their iPad was a game changer! We had really great customer service from our server who was very attentive and accommodating to our requests. All the food came out quickly. I like how the spray is on the table for you to use; it makes you feel more in control of the cooking. Cons: Parking can be quite challenging as it's in a busy strip mall. The portions are a bit small. I don't like how you have to make your own sauces and they aren't pre-made, making people have to wait behind you. Also, it doesn't tell you how much of each to make the sauces you want to come out perfect. Lastly, when we ordered, we found that a lot of our food didn't come out at the same time, which made eating together a bit challenging. We did not do the hot pot; we only did Korean BBQ. Stopped by a few weeks ago on a weekend. It was pretty busy. They don't take reservations, but you can out your name in a waitlist when you get there. They have share a free parking lot with surrounding businesses. You have the option to do all you can eat hot pot, all you can eat Korean BBQ, or do both. Even though she was new to KPot, she handled our table like a pro - attentive, kind, and totally unfazed when we accidentally cranked the grill to dragon-breath levels and filled our section with smoke. Oops. The marinated short rib was hands down our favorite BBQ item - so tender, so flavorful. For the hot pot, I went with the mushroom broth and it was rich, earthy, and super satisfying. There are so many options for both hot pot and BBQ, it feels like a choose-your-own-adventure dinner. Using the iPad to place orders made everything really smooth and easy. Pro tip: Don't just show up and hope for the best - use Toast Tables or Google to snag a spot ahead of time. The wait can get long if you don't plan ahead. As a professional eater of all things KBBQ, I was SO excited to see KPOT was opening! I stopped in with a friend for dinner and we prepared to make the most of our two hour time limit. To start, the service was great. They have staff walking around constantly to change grills, check on you, and give recommendations. We ordered food on the tablet and our server showed us the sauce bar. I appreciate that they have recommended combinations on the wall and created a spicy garlic mixture for myself. By the time I sat back down, all of the meat had arrived. The amount of thinly sliced options was absurd in the best way. Overall great experience at KPot! They recently opened up in Maple Grove. KPot is a chain restaurant, I've been to a couple of other ones in different states. Despite being open for only 4 days, service was excellent. Our server Avanna was just the best. Small delays occasionally as she said that they were a little short staffed but honestly, we barely noticed. She kept checking in on us to make sure things were going well. Food was fresh and delicious. We had a table of 6. They have multiple table configurations of 2, 4, 6 and 10. I think there was also a private room off to the side. They have a build your own sauce bar with a few hot appetizers like sesame balls, egg rolls and dumplings. They also had kimchi and seaweed salad. I also really appreciated that they have a "join the waitlist " option on Google. Although the wait was less than estimated. Came here for the first time to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday and was so excited to try the hotpot+kbbq combination. We applied to the waitlist but at some point we got randomly kicked off the waitlist (which apparently happens sometimes with the system), but don't fret! Just make sure to keep an eye on your place in line and if you just call them and tell them you got kicked off and your approximate place in line they'll be able to put you right back on the waitlist. They were also really nice about it too! Ordering meats and vegetables/noodles is super easy, you just put it in on the iPad. Service was sometimes super fast and sometimes slower but I'd just recommend putting in your orders sooner than you think just in case. The hotpot was great and loved that there was a huge sauce/apps/dessert bar. The marinated galbi was my favorite. It was nice being able to breakup eating hotpot with eating some bbq meats. Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area. If you go on the weekend just be aware that the wait was about 45 min - 1 hour but I'm sure once the hype dies down the wait will probably a lot shorter. read more

We are a frequently customers of KPot, coming at least once a month. Tonight visit was the worse service we ever had. Even during their soft opening and initial few weeks, the service had always been excellent. 4-5-26 they instituted a service charge model of 15% service charge. No matter how bad the service is, the server gets between $4.95-5.70 per person. Our server never once checked in with us tonight. We had to ask her to change our grill and topped off our soup. Otherwise she was pretty much MIA. I would pay extra for good service. Tonight food was wonderful and fresh. Service leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Have been here now and tried both the lunch menu and dinner menu. I really think the pricing is reasonable for AYCE with just being $5 more to add both. Space is much bigger than it looks from the outside. It seems like it can go on forever! If you want to order alcoholic drinks,you will need to directly from the bar separately. We didn't order drinks both times I've been there so far so not sure how the bill works. Good variety in proteins and veggies for both hot pot and BBQ. I really like the individual hot pot as it allows you to try more broth flavors. I really like the ordering system, very easy and the items come out pretty quick. They have a sauce bar to create your own dipping sauce or if you're not sure, they have recipes along the wall you can follow that are easy to read on what to add to make that sauce. They have a hot bar with onion rings, chicken karaage and gyoza for the littles or a little app but since it's AYCE, I'm not one to fill up on those things. As for banchan, the traditional sides you get with Korean food, I was a little disappointed on the variety. First time they only had the radish kimchi and second time there was addition of cucumber kimchi and pickled daikon. I'm used to having 5-6 options if not more and was disappointed they didn't have more. I think having some at the bar is fine but if needed to provide smaller sets of banchan at the table would be a nice add. I missed it squid, potato salad and fish cakes! Best cuts, in my opinion, are the lamb for hot pot, pork belly (any cut/flavor) for bbq, and short ribs (dinner only). I will say, I've been to quite a few spots and I can handle my own since I'm used to the concept but for new people I can see it is overwhelming and probably need some more guidance if staff is able to help. First time, I had a lady try to tell me the sauce bar was to flavor your hotpot (which I mean if you want to go ahead) but she didn't really understand what to do with the cilantro, green onion and garlic at the sauce bar. Second time, a nice lady saw me at the sauce bar and asked me what to do as she felt like I knew what I was doing. I explained to her she could make her sauce for dipping the meats and showed her the recipes (she didn't see them) and told her make it her own. Overall, love that Kpot is so close for me, I will be back I feel like they will continue to get better as they are still pretty new and are still learning and figuring out what will work best for the location and the area. read more

KPOT is as another Yelper put it enjoyable yet chaotic. There is a lot going on, and it tends to come on quick! The meat options for your Korean BBQ or KPOT are extensive and will satisfy nearly any palate. The sauce combinations plentiful and really up to your own whimsical machinations or you can opt to follow some of their recipes. Either way, it can take some finesse to figure out what you're doing and by then, you might even be nearly full. We had a very good overall first experience. It's unique and you'll likely end up plenty full if not stuffed upon your departure. read more
