Went here for a friend's bday! We got seated real fast and got explained the rules I guess really well! They had plenty of options of meat to chose from so that was fun! Cooking the food yourself is a great experience to have. The food they were bring out was in a fast pace compared to how fast we were eating (7 of us). So excited that finally there's a Kpot in Miami, we no longer need to drive past the county line for some Korean BBQ!! For the price of $34 dinner and $23 lunch all you can eat this is unbeatable. Especially with today's food cost. Take that money and go grocery shopping and see how far you can go. The price is for either hot pot (a pot of broth for you boil things in, a definitely healthier choice) or BBQ (a grill where you put things on top). You can pay $5 to have both options, though in our experience it's better to go with just one, as there are plenty to try already, and it makes the table less crowded. Service was nice, whatever we order on the pad came out quickly. Try ordering a few at a time so you can tell which is which. Our favorites ar the pork belly and the pork cheek. Some of the beef cut is a bit chewy but hey we aren't expecting wagyu for this price. The seafood option is somewhat limited, somehow the fish is seasoned spicy, which makes me wonder if they are trying to mask products that aren't very fresh. The baby octopus is a whole octopus, which makes it a challenge to cook it through without being overcooked and chewy. So we'll probably just focus on the meat. At one point, we needed our grill replaced but it took a while as the waitress said she ran out of grills, as they were new and were low on some supplies. The food at the buffet table - kimchi, seafood boil, noodles etc - got emptied fast, but they were quick to refill it too. There is a nice section of sauces, they even provide a few suggestions for sauce combo. Or go for their Kpot special sauce, which is rather delicious. Everything was yummy! We had a great time, trying so many different meats and cooking the Korean bbq. My favorite was the BBQ Beef Bulgogi, it had the best flavor out of all the meats we tried imo. I love how interactive the dining experience is, you get to cook your own food and order as much as you'd like in a 2 hour span. I honestly don't believe we stayed for an entire 2 hours but it was worth it to eat as much as we did. The prices are great for the all you can eat for each adult being at around $30 a person, for kids I believe it is half the price. The service was fantastic. Our server, Patricia was very nice and attentive. The rest of the staff was great as well, constantly picking up the plates we were finished up with. I love that there is a sauce bar with 25 different flavors you can combine to your liking to create a sauce that your taste buds can enjoy. There is also other little appetizers and sides you can get from the same bar area. As well as a bunch of different sweet treats such as ice cream. They also have hot pot which we didn't try this time around. But they gave the option to have Korean BBQ or Hot Pot, and even the option to have both. I guess it depends on what your mood is. Recently opened Kpot location on Flagler street! Located in a very big shopping plaza, there is plenty of parking available. Inside is very spacious with lots of seating available. I went on a Thursday around 5pm and was seated immediately - I'm not sure what the wait times look like during rush hour however. We went with the ayce hotpot-only option, the broths, meats, veggies and sides taste just as delicious as the Pines location! Service is very friendly and quick! I would definitely recommend visiting this location if you're located in Miami and in the mood for hotpot, there is no need to drive to the Pines location when this branch is now open. I took my mom for her bday. It was relatively early, so the place was a calm and wasn't too busy. The server was kind, witty, and comical with the table. I really appreciated the energy he brought to our table. The food was mostly good. They provide you a tablet, and you get to order as much as you want. Has a a decent amount of choices of meats, chickens, veggies and some sea food. They have a bar with "sides". Some of the sides could be improved, but I mostly ignored the options. We decided to try the BBQ first, but we'll definitely be back to try their hot pot another time. The service is quick and efficient. There's also a buffet with a variety of sides to enjoy with your BBQ or hot pot, including potstickers, fried chicken wings, and different types of kimchi. THIRD VISIT & now it's time for a review. Also want to share they are now serving LIQUOR!! Strawberry Hennessy cocktail is so delicious. You have the option to order as a pitcher ($64) or tower($97) to share with your group. The customer service has been amazing. Denmar was super friendly! Food is delicious and worth the price, especially their lunch menu (Mon - Fri 12p-4p $23 pp with selected meats). It's also much quieter and less busy compared to weekends with 2 hr waiting, which I recommend arriving early before 4pm for a less wait time. Also, if you are going in a group, everyone has to select the same option either bbq or bbq with hot pot option ($5 extra pp). The stores nearby (Daiso & Miniso) make time go by if you are stuck waiting. You use the tablet at the table to select your meats and veggies. There's also a hot bar with different selections of sauces, hot food sides (gyoza, fries, white rice, even maduros lol it's a Miami thing) and salads such as spicy cucumber and kimchi. Have been there a couple of times. Needles to say the first time was great and from there on a down-hill slide. The restaurant is new at the location and common in the type of service they provide if you are used to KPot. The weekends is extremely busy and wait time can range up-to 2 hours. Expect to wait and I would suggest to go with ample time to walk around as there are no reservations until you get there. There is traffic and the reception desk seems disorganized but dont worry they will get to you. The staff for the most part is professional and courteous. Kudos to the support staff that is constantly walking around and bringing the items you ordered. Now let me share my experience. While everything is good in the sense of food. The ambience is quite loud sometimes. So dont expect a quiet sit down meal. The food arrived adequately but some items are too cold. There is no sweetened iced tea but sparkling water and other drinks are available. One thing about when you order is that if you return your food for whatever reason you must re order it again because it will not come out again. The waiter or waitress on most occasions had to be requested through the support staff for either refills and or additional request like filling up the soup base. I would suggest you provide exact instructions as to what type of service you want to avoid any miscommunication and you have an enjoyable experience. Also get both on the type of food you want that way you experience it fully. The small buffet bar is limited with some extra items but be mindful everything will be at the main table. Price goes rather large if you choose both options but is worth it if your appetite is large. I would not recommend the ice-cream as it very basic. The bathrooms are clean. Other than that is a coin toss for going here to eat. The experience might be good but the service counters that. Your choice in the end. read more

We got off of our cruise this morning and decided to have KPot for lunch. Since it didn't open until noon, we took our luggage to the airport and then waited to head over. We got there a little before noon (which is the posted time that the restaurant opens), so we decided to wander around Daiso for a bit. We went back at noon and we were told that they needed 10 minutes because they were still cleaning. Ok, frustrating and poor planning on their part. We waited 10 minutes outside. We returned at 12:10 and we were told by another employee that we had to wait another 10 minutes. I told them no, that the restaurant opened at noon, we had already waited, and we wanted to be seated. When the hostess agreed, I turned to get the rest of my party. The first woman walked back up and said that they didn't open until 12:30 because they were deep cleaning. If this were true, why didn't she say that at 12:00, when the doors were unlocked and the open sign was on, and the posted sign said the hours started at 12? After we spent $30 on an Uber specifically to this restaurant and have to go to the airport to catch a flight soon, telling us to wait 30 minutes AFTER they open with no one in the restaurant is unacceptable. I like the hot pot and I like the Korean bbq. This is an all you can eat in two hours restaurant. It is a clean establishment in west Miami. It has neon and booths in a large open space. This location had some growing pains but it's improving. They now have alcohol available. The food is fresh and one can't beat the bang for your buck if you are familiar with korean bbq prices. I'm taking one star off though cause there is one staff member that I always seem to run into each time I visit that is quite frankly not well trained or doesn't seem to care. We loved it at the beginning we got our drinks and the waitress was super nice and the environment is great. However when it comes to getting our protein we didn't get everything we ordered and somehow the kitchen didn't have it which makes no sense. Out of the 2 hours we more less spent 1 hour waiting for our protein which needless to say never received on time and we had to order it again. Kpot is usually sooo good--the food itself is honestly a 10/10 and I've always loved it. But this time, the service and portion sizes completely ruined the experience. Our server kept "forgetting" things we ordered. He forgot our drinks, our tongs, soup bowls, and even water cups, which made everything frustrating and slow. What made it more disappointing is that our friends recently went to the Orlando location and had the complete opposite experience--super friendly, attentive staff and portions that actually matched what's shown on the menu. At this Flagler location, the portions were noticeably stingy. The food is still great, but between the lack of service and smaller portions, it just didn't live up to expectations this time. This is my first time doing something like this, but I'm writing this more as a message to management than anything else. I dined here on May 3rd around 8:15 PM, and overall, the service was solid, which is part of why I'm taking the time to write this instead of just moving on. What I saw didn't feel like an individual mistake; it felt like a training or systems issue. On multiple occasions, raw proteins (including shellfish and later chicken) were plated directly with items meant to be eaten as-is, specifically the lettuce wraps. After noticing it happen more than once, I asked about it and was told that if we didn't want items touching, we needed to order them separately. Based on that response and the repetition, it seemed like this is how plates are normally built. I also brought this up with management while I was there. I wasn't upset; I was trying to flag something that could be a real issue, but it didn't seem like the concern was taken seriously. That's really the reason I'm writing this. For anyone in the industry, the main concern here is simple: raw poultry and ready-to-eat foods should never be coming into contact. Beyond that, there's also the allergen risk with shellfish. This isn't about preference it's about basic food safety handling. and from my understanding, a standard practice at any Korean barbecue, I understand the risk of serving raw food for your patrons to cook and they have the responsibility to not cross contaminate but the establishment has to minimize that risk especially if your staff is telling your customers that the lettuce is meant to be eaten raw and used to make wraps that should mean more than any other produce. The lettuce should be separate plain and simple. Again, I'm not trying to tear the place down. The staff was working hard and the service was good, which is why this stood out even more. This feels like something that can be fixed quickly with the right attention and training and seems like a misinformed team but not a disorganized one and a tight knit team I initially brought this up in person, confident it could be a learning moment for your young staff and at the end of the day I still hope this will get passed along and be a learning moment very cool concept and very cool people. read more

I was impressed by how the entire restaurant staff were extremely on top of plating, cleaning up, refilling water, bringing the food, etc. They all worked together as a well-oiled machine.
