The only, but serious drawback is the service and workflow. Soup has been served cold. Waiters did not offer any wine, and once asked forgot to bring the menu (the place was 70% empty, so there was no rush). We had a tasting menu. In every restaurant I tried such dinner (quite a few), waiters service was very engaged, described the dishes with true engagement and served some small things in between. In Amber Room we got exactly and only the dishes in the menu, waiters not always described the dishes, there was no alcohol pairing offer. Although the dishes tasted good, all in all it was the worst tasting menu experience I have had so far. Last but not least the prices. I don't mind expensive dining, when it is justified. But 100$ for small glass of Spanish Cava for the pack of four, glass of regular red wine for two, two teas and bottle of water seems little overpriced.

To start they will offer a glass of Procecco, at the perfect chill temperature. Then you can enjoy a small starter on the house. In our visit it was bison carpaccio. For appetizers, menu offers cold and hot dishes. Kale salad with cranberries and feta cheese was excellent. For hot dish I recommend pumpkin tortellini. Lemon sorbet will be served in between courses. White vegetable cream soup is rich, while cucumber soup in authentic Polish and very light. For main dish you cannot go wrong. Lamb was slowed cooked, tender, juicy. Duck was very good too, although the lamb was so tasty it was difficult to compare. Looking forward to our next visit to try the Cod fish or Tuna steak. To end the meal we order probably the best soya cappuccino I have tasted... Creamy, rich, perfect blend. The restaurant takes care of every detail. Waitress are knowledgable and attentive. Service is impeccable, yet still friendly and down-to-earth. Dates, anniversary, business lunch or dinner, or simply you are feeling it... Probably my favorite place in Warsaw to enjoy refined Polish cuisine.

This whole are has an old time charm. But once you're inside, the hotel is modern and beautiful. It is only a 20 minute walk to the Old Town and all down the street of Nowy Swiat you can find restaurants, bars, and lots to do! It's also steps away from a tram stop so getting to public transport is very easy. From the moment you check in, you feel welcomed by the staff. We were upgraded to a junior street which had stellar skyline views. Highly recommend getting the suite for an ultimate experience. The room was very spacious and clean. There is also a mini bar in the room with additional goodies for purchase. We also had breakfast included in our stay which is served at their Flo restaurant. The restaurant itself is a work of art. The breakfast includes a cold buffet with a variety of cheese, hams, breads, spreads, juices and coffee. From there you sit down and you can order items from the kitchen which are included in your breakfast price. They even had some sparkling wine! Centrally located with the main walking street (Nowy Swuar) just steps away Check/in was seamless. I asked for a higher floor and got it as well a corner room which was a nice touch. My King room was a good size and had a nice skyline view on one side and street view on the other. Iron as well safe and mini bar were available. Fitness room had newer equipment and had all I needed for a workout. The extra that I don't see in most hotels was the steam and dry saunas. Perfect after a good day of playing Tourist! Only thing to be aware of is the venue across the street. I believe it was a club and there was a party atmosphere with music that I could hear until 4 am Friday and Saturday. So, if you want quiet, ask for a room not facing that side of the street. Breakfast was available for 20 Euros. Lounge area would be great for a cocktail even if you weren't staying here. Service was friendly and helpful. Chopin airport is about 15 minutes away with Modlin airport 45 minutes without traffic. Would recommend and will be back.
