**UPDATE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL** First time visiting and honestly the food was GOOD, but the service on our table was a disaster. We had a group of 6 and specifically pointed out the exact platters we wanted directly on the menu to our waiter multiple times. Somehow the order was still entered completely wrong. What was supposed to be around $241.31 before taxes, fees, and gratuity somehow turned into over $400 worth of food. When the food came out, it immediately looked excessive and not what we ordered, but since it was our first time there we weren't totally sure at first. We got the manager involved, and I think there was some misunderstanding like we were trying to avoid paying the bill entirely, which was never the case. We simply wanted the bill corrected closer to what we originally ordered. To their credit, they did work with us and got it down to $338. Again, the food itself was really good, but the wait staff seriously needs more training before handling larger tables because this was way more stressful and expensive than it should've been. read more

It was my first time here. I am being reintroduced to the restaurants in the area since I move back recently. I am familiar with boils and I like the idea of ordering some but once I saw the menu my eyes went straight for the fried oyster poboy, hubby went for the one with shrimp. Oyster Poboy was pretty good! The bread was a bit too toasted and it was a bit hard to chew but the oysters were really good. Fries didn't disappoint. The table tried to order different things but they were out of a lot of things, not even a simple shrimp cocktail could be served. They offer one of my favorites, limenade with mineral water (topochico) but couldn't get it, they were out of mineral water too. Service was not bad but didn't seem to have a lot of interest in supplying something or offering substitutes for the out of stock items. My niece loves the place and she was happy with what she ordered, she had the boil tray. I saw other tables ordering individually bagged boils and they seem to be better served than the trays. The Cajun seasoning on the tray was good although they tend to abuse the garlic a little too much. read more

Came during the week with my sister for a girls night out, it didn't disappoint. Music was great and the restaurant was clean and tidy. We ordered the crab cake...it was really good but it was only one piece?? (If you aren't too keen on sharing order something else) Anyways the service was unmatched. The young men who worked that night were very attentive and make the best margaritas (get the strawberry ) I think we ordered the fried shrimp, it was a reasonable serving with fries but just a tad pricey. Went this afternoon and order 2 pounds of crawfish, and more and paid 71.63$ only to be shorted crawfish and a couple other items I ordered. When I called to inform them of the mistake the woman on the phone stated that she only charged me for 1 pound which is incorrect. And that I could go back to get the rest of the stuff she forgot to give me, I don't live close enough to be driving back and forth and to be honest it was not worth it.
