very poor customer care. i was regular buyer until i received 2 fabrics (1m each) with a lot of…read moreholes just in middle of the fabrics. i asked seller to replace it. seller replied "these are pin holes from where the fabrics are stored. it is perfectly normal and they disappear when the fabrics are washed or if you rub over the holes." i did what seller said - washed, rubbed but without success the holes are still there. i put the fabrics on side as they are useless . i have to say i ordered hundreds of meters of fabrics and never ever received with any holes in middle. very disappointed with seller.

Seeing the front window filled with sewing machines, I worried that the focus was too much on sewing to have much for knitters -- but I was dead wrong. Most of the back room was devoted to yarn, needles and other knitting notions and patterns. None of the expensive high-end brands (Madelinetosh, etc.) and a lot of baby yarn and blends (not my thing) but loads of solid yarn choices, including a whole case filled with Opal and Trekking sock yarn. And I was blown away to see SPINNING FIBER (roving); not many craft stores carry this! Helpful, friendly sales clerks. Expert advice, too: one of the two clerks was offering a customer some rather sophisticated advice about yarn substitutions for a pattern. I would be delighted to have a shop like this near my home.

The staff are very helpful and will give effective advice about repairing damaged garments. I also found that when I wanted to try and make something from a paper pattern, they were able to steer me towards a simple one that didn't require to much fabric.

The staff are lovely, and it's well lit, so you don't have to worry what colour things are going to turn out when you get them home. Stored well, and clean, it's very ideal, you just need good money to get everything that catches your eye!
