I used to enjoy this Krispy Kreme location and I have been a member of the loyalty program for a while now, but I am not returning to this location. I came in for a promotion they were offering and their cashier told me I can't get it because I'm not going to buy anything. I did in fact, get half a dozen, and I get donuts every time I come. I went with my mother in law. We had a buy a dozen get a dozen glaze free. They said they would not honor our coupon because they were out of glaze and I asked when they would have more and they said they were not making anymore and they did it offer to honor our coupon the next day or anything. Light Sweet Fluffy Hot No Honey I aint talkin about you! I am referring to the conveyor belt of warm goodness flowing through the store... parking is free, and once you get into the store you are met with decisions decisions decisions, and the worst part is the simplest most basic donut is just circling the store in front of you saying Eat Me Eat Me... if you are thus tempted to put the warm, sweet, freshly made glazed donut in your mouth then there you go... but if you do that and dont try the monthly special, or the cream filled delights, then you will miss out. Today was Dress-Like-A-Pirate Day with Krispy Kreme. Talk like a pirate? 1 donut! Dress like a pirate? A dozen donuts! Use the pirate Snapchat geofilter which you can access at the location? A dozen donuts! So I figure "why throw a costume together when I can just use a simple filter!?" like anybody who dislikes costumes naturally would. I make the 20 minute venture to Krispy Kreme and load Snapchat, look through the filters, and it's nowhere to be found! No worries, I figure. They probably had technical difficulties or something- they're a good business anyway and are probably being very understanding with the people who planned on using the filter. it wouldn't even make sense to decline someone a dozen, as they could just borrow a few bits of a costume from other people in the store to "qualify" right? So I wait the 30 minutes of the line out. No biggie. Free dozen donuts, I'm not going to complain about a wait! But my faith in their being considerate and reasonable was ill-advised. Get to the front of the line. "Unfortunately, sir, we are a franchise so we don't have the filter." I'm not one for confrontation so I just proceed to exit without saying a word. There's no upset expression on my face, but this girl knows I just drove there, stood in line for thirty minutes and am leaving with nothing. Pretty sure she realizes that the company just lost business (potential loyal customer) but she's not a manager so she doesn't feel comfortable superseding whatever her manager expected, and I'm not about to talk to a manager and reason with him just so I can have the donuts I expected. She stops me as I take my first step towards the door and asks if I wanted the one free donut. I decline out of principle (plus, a single donut leaves a hungry one unsatisfied and wanting more). Never- NEVER in my life will a single penny come out of my pocket and be spent with the intention of buying anything having to do with Krispy Kreme. I spent an hour of my life to get a dozen donuts today- an hour of work at a minimum wage job pays for a dozen donuts. Even $1 pays what it costs Krispy Kreme to make a dozen donuts. I liked Krispy Kreme's gesture of brand promotion with free donuts, and I planned on becoming a long-time loyal customer as a result (despite the fact that I find their glazed donuts frankly terrible compared to my favorite places). Donuts are, by far, my favorite food in the world. I will undoubtedly spend thousands of dollars on donuts before I die. If Krispy Kreme wanted that money to go to their company, they shouldn't have promised me a dozen of them and then let me down. The BEST Place a HOT DONUT. If you haven't had one, then stay away. Those of you who have share my misery. No other donut compares to the Krispy Kreme HOT DONUT. Passing by that sign has a Pavlovian response and you cannot help but turn around. Sweet fried hot goodness, melting in your mouth. No chewing necessary. A wide variety of other donuts with also premium donuts. Decent coffee also. Did I mention the HOT DONUTS. Unless you want to ruin all other donut eating experiences, stay away. In my opinion, it helps me not to eat other ones cause they can't compare. They are supposed to be open until 10pm on a week night. We walked up to the front door at 9pm and had an employee lock the door right in our faces. He didn't even bother to give us an explanation before he locked the door on us. Just locked it and walked away. Also, we could see through the windows they had some kid in street clothes hanging out behind the counter. I think they closed early so they wouldn't have to work. Super disappointed in this establishment went in there to buy donuts a couple mornings ago for everybody at my office. The staff member in their name Ashley was extremely rude. I asked for the prices and she pointed to the price board and told me that the prices are on the board. When I asked for a bag for my donuts she told me that I needed a very big bag for a tiny little box. I reached out to the corporate office and didn't get any kind of response from management at this location in order to give them time to issue a proper resolution. I was very dissatisfied with the service I received when there are three different going on establishments within a mile radius of my work. The store I work at even gets a discount at Shipley's donuts and instead I went to Krispy Kreme. The donuts were OK I will not say that the food quality was poor just the service that you receive. I don't understand how people can employ people that just don't care about the people that pay the checks. She was extremely rude from the moment I walked in. This generation of employees is completely new to me. I don't understand how you can employ somebody and they can't expect to be paid to be rude to the customers. When I got to my office I'm at made sure to tell everybody how I was treated here. First let me say that I am a Krispy Kreme fan. I haven't had Krispy Kreme in a while, since it's out of my way, but decided to make an effort to get some sugary goodness today. This was my first and last time to this location. When we walked in there was only our family in the shop and a group of customers who'd already ordered. Before we ordered my wife wanted to take my daughter to the restroom to wash her hands, walking in we see the bathrooms, but you just can't walk in, you have to go get a key, like at a crummy gas station. There's no one at the register, but there's a kid cleaning the windows, my wife is two feet from him but he doesn't pay any attention to her when she asks about the key ( he had head phones on). After several failed attempts to get his attention verbally, she tapped on the glass he was cleaning to get his attention. Once she finally gets the key, the bathroom is disgusting. While, waiting for the wife and daughter, I look over the doughnuts and notice that the selection is pretty sparse compared to what is usually offered at Krispy Kreme. Not once while I waited at the counter did anyone come to take my order, when my wife comes back she tells me about the bathroom, which is a sign of how clean a place is overall. Then I think back to the window washer kid who was spraying cleaner on the windows only a few feet from the fryer, which was making doughnuts, as the hot light was on. By now other people have come in and window washer kid is filling doughnut orders, with out ever going to wash his hands. Needless to say with the lack of perceived cleanliness, and the employees disinterest in the customers, we left empty handed. Also, being that the Hot light was on, I would have expected them to offer a free hot doughnut, as has been my experience at every other location when the hot light is on, but all of their employees were to preoccupied to even welcome the customers. read more

Took the kids to have a Saturday night snack. The sign says they close at 1100 pm. At 5 min til closing tjme the guy stands there after not answering the drive thru intercom, and lip syncs that they are closed. I said it's still 5 min til. So he acts like he can hear me and using silent sign language and keeps point at the clock. The clock inside the restaurant is set ahead of closing time. You can very clearly see that everything is put away and closed down all doors locked. The unprofessional action of acting like he cant here me and even when I showed him the time on 2 cellphone ( android and apple). He persisted to give the hand across the neck sign. It was until I said, "Can you do the right thing for the kids," did I realize he could hear me the whole time. He said in a very clear voice, " I can't give the kids anything." I siad I thought y I u couldn't hear. He literally went back to the silent sign language pointing to the clock inside and the hand across the throat. Never had this problem here before. Smh...Customer service is a reflection of leadership. read more
