Since COVID this location has seen really long lines. I have come back empty handed twice. The third time I definitely wanted to eat a donut. Stood in the queue which was relatively short and quick moving. They are as effective in service as they were earlier and maintain the social distance as well as hygiene within the premise. I love their coffee so we got one of those and although we don't eat as many donuts we have found our favorite one, the raspberry filled one. The lovely tart flavor with the sugar and sweetness of the donut itself. Try the take away if you have plenty of time on hand or you could wait in the queue as well. read more

PREPARE TO WAIT! I came here with my family to pick up some donuts back in June since we live on the east end but happened to be on the west end this day (luckily there is a brand new Scarborough location that JUST opened this past week). I knew there would be a lineup (both in the drive thru and in person), as I've seen all over social media, but did not know what to expect for this day, as some people said they have waited almost 2 hours. We decided to go through the drive thru around 8pm and waited almost 45 minutes to get to the speaker. We were also keeping track of how long it would take people who went in, in person, and they were in and out within 15 minutes or so, so super quick! We would have done that, but being in the car just felt safer, as we wouldn't have to be close to people standing in line (because there was not much physical distancing as far as I could see). It was about $11 or 12 for a variety dozen. We got the following flavours: Chocolate Iced, Cake Batter, Original Filled Original Kreme & Powdered Strawberry Filled along with 8 Original Glazed Donuts. As good as it gets. Nothing beats a classic Krispy Kreme Doughnut. I totally forgot they have other flavours too. I personally really like the sprinkle donut and the oreo one. All their flavours still have the classic cream glaze in one way or another. I tried the coffee for their first time today and I really like it too - it's a nice dark roast. I'd totally be here more times a week if it was closer to home or if there were more locations. As of right now, coming here is kind of like a treat yourself kind of thing... Day old Krispy Kremes taste like fresh Tim Hortons. Now think how fresh KK's taste! Really--in my possession, a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts would never make it to day 2. But at the end of one day my staff brought back a few leftover KK originals that I had dropped off for them at a job site. I found them in the office the next day and had one. It just so happened I had stopped at Tims on the way in and picked up one of their fresh glazed doughnuts. They both had a similar texture. I can imagine the workers of this place often times feeling like a Canada post worker, cause customers have to be overloading this location to the breaking point almost daily. my most recent experience leads me to take a star off of my review, cause going through the drive thru was pretty painful on two aspects. number one, the drive through is split into a tee formation, so people from the parking lot can enter, and people coming in from the side street can also come in, so depending on the approach you might get bumped a spot or two back in line. secondly the wait time going through this drive-thru is pretty painful to be honest. the whole ordeal took well over ten minutes from time or entry to driving away. very happy with the product and the consistency, I know from a "assembly line standpoint" it takes time, but its a bit frustrating. the staff are super friendly, lots of parking, and the location is generally clean. if you buy two dozen doughnuts, you actually get a discount on the second dozen, which still comes in at under 20 bucks. read more

I just started working at a new job right down the street from the Mississauga location (The original Canadian location) and now, I'm finding any excuse to visit the place. It reminds me of one of those 50's malt shops. I went through the Drive-Thru and picked up 2 dozen (save $2 when you buy 2 dozen) and brought them into work. It's been years since I stepped foot into Krispy Kreme to get a free original glazed donut. I was craving for one so we decided to walk over from my house. How close and convenient! However, I wanted one so we ended up buying two single donuts. He got the glazed chocolate cake donut and I got their glazed original. Each donut is $1.30..which I think is a bit more than Tim Horton's. We looked for a place to enjoy our donuts but the seating area was quite dirty. So we had our donuts while walking home. The original was pretty good and has satisfied my craving for at least a year. My boyfriend didn't enjoy his at much and said the Tim Horton's one is better. We definitely love this place. We've been here many many times, but I will use last night's visit for a point of reference. The corporate ownership recently changes hands. This has not seemed to impact stores yet. Krispy Kreme came to Canada under great hoopla, and this was one of the original Canadian locations. After the initial buzz wore off, people went back to their Tim Horton's donuts since KK's are premium priced at approximately $10 a box - they were even pricier ten years ago for the premium varieties. The last couple of fridays it seems that the asian honda racing club has taken over the parking lot nearby. They leave at least 4 rows of parking for the Krispy Kreme customers. But I would suggest that you use the Plymouth drive access to the parking lot rather than the one on Mavis so you don't have to drive through their setup. Inside the store there's a big glass wall so that customers can see donuts being produced. My younger daughter stayed for at least ten minutes watching donuts swim in oil and get rinsed under a niagara falls torrent of liquid sugar. We bought a dozen donuts. The selection wasn't as good last night as other nights. The lady in front of us took the last maple dip donut, much to my daughter's dismay. We brought our donuts home and they were devoured by all five denizens of our house. read more

Absolutely terrible service. I came here with my brothers and my uncle who had never tried Krispy Kreme before. The store was quite empty so I thought that we would be helped promptly. I waited to order for 5-10 minutes before someone came to help me. Keep in mind that there was nobody in line in front or behind me and they didn't seem to be under staffed. A few of the employees saw me yet did not acknowledge my presence whatsoever. When I finally ordered I was told there weren't any hot original doughnuts and it would be at least 30minutes before new ones be made. I told her I'll take the ones they made earlier as long as it's fresh. Now.. the doughnuts were cold and not fresh at all. I resorted to asking the employee to microwave my doughnuts. So disappointed especially because it was my uncles first time trying it. We also got coffee but the milk and cream was finished. Terrible service and a very unpleasant experience. We love this Krispy Keene Doughnut store. This store is awesome the staff is so friendly and nice and patient. Let me be serious there is no way that nobody gets confused when they get up to the register for there turn. So many options and they all are delicious. But they are patient and understanding. That explains the line up but it's all worth it. Think god there isn't a Krispy Kreme near my house in Newmarket because I will be there everyday. I think most would agree with me.
