Was really surprised to find a Krispy Kreme donut shop in downtown Ocho Rios, right next to the Burger King. My brother wanted to bring back a dozen donuts to distribute to associates on our cruise boat, so he worked with the friendly cashier to purchase a premium dozen for $2,500 (about $17 USD). I really like their classic original glazed so he got me one of them, and I ate it while we walked back to the ship. They LOOK like the real thing (see picture), but lifting them up, they seemed too heavy. And sure enough, it wasn't the Krispy Kreme like in the States...tasted like a glazed donut one gets from the grocery store that was made offsite and sitting around for a couple of days...too dense. It just wasn't good. To make matters worse (or better, depending on how you look at it), the security on the cruise boat would not let him bring the rest back onboard the ship: no food allowed. I go to this Krispy Kreme more than adult me thought I would and less then child me would expect me to be there. Though I miss miss the fig conveyor belt Krispy Kreme experience, I'm very happy to be able to pop in and get what I believe to be one of the softest donuts in the game. They are also generous with the birthday donuts which totally serves as justification for why during the year. I think buying a dozen or two of donuts is acceptable adult behavior. When you play those games where they say if you can only eat one type of something for the rest of your life, what would it be? I think in the donut category it would be Krispy Kreme. Im giving it a 4 instead of a 2 because of Charlie, he was really nice. The reason I wanted to give a 3 is cuz there was really no varieties. Now I will say I got there like 9p so maybe that's why. And maybe I'm so used to going to the one in the city that has so much variety. I assumed I was going to get a good variety no matter what time I went since Astoria is always popping. Went there around 6:00AM to get my free dozen of Glazed donuts on World Kindness Day. There was 1 customer being served and another customer came after me. The employees just told me 1 minute and with no greeting whatsoever so I just waited. They kept saying one minute. Eventually after few minutes later , the pushy customer after me got the donuts before me. It was free so just have to put up with rude service and other rude customers. I love coming to this new Krispy Kreme location in Queens and not having to drive to the city. Although it's still a 30 minute drive from me, their delicious glazed doughnuts itself is so worth the trip. They are soft, sweet, light and melts in your mouth- not like your typical Dunkin Donuts (yeast vs cake), I can eat 3 or 4 in one sitting! You can't go wrong with any of their Kreme filled, iced, glazed or chocolate doughnuts but I personally prefer the original glazed bc their not too sweet and airy. If you sign up for their rewards program and download the app, you get a free dozen glazed doughnuts during your birthday month. How sweet is that!? They also have member exclusive deals and special bogo offers every month. There's never a line when I come here (opens @ 6am), love the grab & go dozen doughnuts option, store is clean, service is quick and the staff are really nice. My family & I were craving something sweet & were around the ditmars area so decided to stop here! I've seen the city locations but never actually tried so this was the perfect opportunity! They are famous for the original glazed but we wanted to try a bunch of flavors. We ended up getting a dozen of assorted donuts. They were all so fresh & delicious! Today, I went to pick a regular coffee, one milk one sugar. When I entered, both of the workers are the register weee rude and brash. Even in NYC, a fact paced environment, this behavior is unacceptable, and I do believe a professional and kind behavior to the customers is necessary and healthy. The last time I ordered Krispy Kreme donut was from a fundraiser. There were 2 dozens, I ate a dozen of them by myself. It was so wonderful, soft, fluffy and perfect. I finally passed by a Krispy Kreme that's not from a Walgreens! I ordered the glazed donut and it was fine. Good, but not like the fundraiser Krispy Kreme donuts. It wasn't as soft and fluffy. I mean we are absolutely obsessed with Krispy Kreme. Every 2 weeks I take the ride from Long Island to get a box for the house. This location specifically is in such a great corner area. The ambiance is fun and vibrant and welcoming . The decor is really cute . The food aka the donuts are out of the world delicious and way less calories then DD . There service on the other hand is 50/50. Walked by and capitlized on the fact that there was no line. Bought a dozen for myself and the fam. Not sure if there was an issue with payments but today they were accepting cash only. Reasonably priced at almost $19 considering I've spent over $50 at Doughnut Plant - well worth it by the way but I digress. I got plain glazed, oreo, strawberry, pumpkin, cake batter, chocolate and raspberry glazed. They are very sweet so having one with a cup of coffee should balance it out. They were all pretty delicious and solid, though I could've done without the cake batter. They were on the smaller side, as well. Then again, I am a glutton and am used to hearty sized donuts. Delicious donuts, clean and fast service. The donuts shop has a sign that lights up to tell you fresh donuts are being made. The donuts are lightly coated in chocolate and a Twix in the middle. 5/5 two thumbs up. Highly recommend to try their new flavors. read more

I went to Krispy Kreme on 22-02 31st St, Astoria, NY yesterday July 14th at 8pm. I drove an hour and a half from Long Island to enjoy some Glazed Donuts with my daughter. We got to the location and an employee and the manager made a joke that they had no more donuts because they were robbed. Then they said it was just a joke that they just had no more donuts availble because they were busy. The place is open till 11pm on Friday nights how can you not have the most sought after item on your menu? We proceeded to drive further to a location on 396 E 149th st. in the Bronx. We get there and to our surpise, they no longer had any Glazed donuts either and they were open till 10pm. I don't know if its laziness on the part of the employees or what but you can't not make donuts several hours before closing time. You will have customers. That is unacceptable. I basically wasted 3 hours on a friday night trying to get a donut for my daughter and myself to just be completely dissapointed. read more
