Dunkin' Donuts has always been known for, well, their donuts. Through the years, they've come up…read morewith different flavours and types of donuts (I can never resist Munchkins), have ventured into sandwiches and also carry a variety of drinks to go with your donut. Admittedly, I have not tried out Dunkin Donut's sandwiches until very recently. To be honest, I actually only got to try it out this morning. Hahaha! I went to lunch at Dunkin Donuts' branch here at Buayang Bato in Mandaluyong City. I believe this is the donut magnate's official factory that's why this particular branch is larger than most other Dunkin Donut's. Entering the bakery, your noses get an assault of coffee and freshly baked donuts. Definitely NOT complaining! It's a welcome scent for someone who's been stuck in the office whole morning. The store offers a lot of different flavoured donuts. They even have a variety of flavoured Munchkins - ones I actually have not heard of (Jamocha Munckins, anyone?) Because Dunkin doesn't serve rice meals, I tried out one of their sandwiches instead. I ordered their Mushroom and Cheese in Brown Bread, and was very pleasantly surprised. The simple combination of mushrooms and cheese on brown bread is a delicious and filling lunch. For 75 pesos, I was very satisfied. On another note though, their coffee at this particular branch is pretty strong. Think barako coffee with a spoon of milk and a ton of ice. My friends didn't particularly love their caffeinated drinks so I guess you can order your cup of Joe at another café.

It's eaten just like the Yan Yan snack found in grocery stores. Flavor is basically a glazed donut with chocolate around halfway until the bottom. It was just okay since it was really simple. With coffee, it probably wouldn't matter as much since you'd be mixing semi-sweet with some strong and bitter coffee.

My favorite flavors were the Mr. Green T and the Chocolate Caviar Strawberry. Their donuts are more on the dense side, but still flavorful and yummy. I was very much surprised at how calm it was and it wasn't as packed as I've seen the mall since I landed. Upon walking in, the staff were really friendly and answered all my questions, mainly me asking if they had almond milk... unfortunately, they didn't so I kept on ordering espresso double shots everywhere we went. I ordered a double shot espresso and it came with a regular sugar donut. I also ordered a matcha green tea donut but I wasn't able to eat it b/c I was eating too many sweets after our time here. -------------- Then my family and I came here again when we were shopping for stuff to bring back home and we all needed a caffeine boost. The server that helped me out was working again and she greeted me b/c she remembered me... and it was really sweet of her. I bought the orange cup and saucer combo and the friendly server went beyond her call of duty and packed that cup and saucer thoroughly. I was really impressed and no cracks when I opened it back here. Overall, the main story: friendly staff and good donuts. Not too sweet but just right. If you have a sweet tooth... well worth checking out! To the management: well done on your staff being helpful and friendly.

Co and I think that was when Gonuts Donuts really fell out of the race. They used to have really soft doughnuts, I recently had some because my office mate brought them to work, and it was hard already. He even told us that the doughnuts were just purchased the day before cause we might think that it was bought last week. Everyone in the office just laughed about it but right at that moment, I think it was safe to say no one wanted to buy them anymore after that. I really do hope that they bounce back and offer people something more than just stale doughnuts because I think they still have a chance to rekindle the relationship that they have with their loyal customers.

I first encountered Gonuts Donuts when my mom brought home some donuts in an unfamiliar looking box. What followed was a pleasant surprise as there is now one more establishment that I know I can depend on to satisfy my donut needs. I personally enjoy plain glazed donut and the peanut butter covered one the most, while my sister prefers any donut they have that has chocolate. For those with diabetes and can't handle sugar in their system, Gonuts Donuts offers sugar free donuts! My dad in particular loves Gonuts Donuts because of this. Great variety on their part and very considerate to that market, as well. Aside from that, they also sell Choco Cookie Butter and Choco Hazelnut spreads, both of which are priced reasonably and actually taste pretty good.

I couldn't remember the actual name of the kiosk but I sure was devastated when I found out that the stall closed down. My little donut-loving heart was broken into pieces. It truly was a sad day for me. So imagine my surprise when I found a replica (I couldn't remember if that was the same donut company I loved back then) of my beloved mini donut kiosk at Megamall's Food Court just late last week? My boyfriend was so baffled as to why I was so ecstatic to see a food stall, I almost thought he thought I was going crazy. I explained everything to him though, don't worry! BUT OMG, I FOUND IT!!! Seeing Lil' Orbits was enough to put the pieces of my donut-loving heart back together! I immediately bought myself a dozen pack of my favorite flavour - cinnamon sugar. I was so delighted to see that the machine I remembered frying those cute mini donuts is still the same. It was one of the reasons I loved buying these donuts - I liked watching how they were made! (Okay, maybe I am getting a little crazy.) Lil' Orbits has other flavors to choose from. They've got chocolate, cheese, cookies and cream, strawberry and more. You can buy them in half a dozen or a whole dozen a pack. I'm so happy I got to find Lil' Orbits. It's just these kinds of nostalgic things that are the perfect cure to any blah day!

I love myself some Michelin Star degustation meals, but you just have to go "back to basics" once in a while. The stuff that hits close to "home." My significant other loved mini-donuts growing up. Actually, who didn't? She claimed that she hasn't had any of such mini-donuts since high school, she's had recurring cravings for years now. On my end, the last time I had something similar was while I was in Boracay with alcohol in my system (disclaimer: it wasn't during any Labor Day weekend, so please don't judge me.) She recently got word that there's a stall in Megamall that serves the childhood favorite. In excitement, we magically found time amidst both our busy schedules to visit the stall. We got to Megamall, and headed to the basement level. She rushed to the stall as soon as she spotted it in the busy food court. Dozens of mini-donuts were bought that night, to the point that it required two trips (which led to a slightly judging grin on the donut maker/ server's face). The joy on my significant other's face was priceless after satisfying an 8-year craving. Seeing that makes me want to give this stall more than 5 stars (if only I could).

I am scheduled for blood tests the next day for my HBa1C and many other tests. I didn't received the coffee with the Caramel Syrup in a little cup, but I was thinking that they probably just didn't give it to me. I took a little sleep of the coffee and it tasted just a slight sweetness, and I was thinking it's probably coming from the oatmilk. I had my brother tasted since he always drinks, black coffee and he said he's not sure but it tastes a little sweet. When I look at the counter where they make the coffee, I saw that the cashier, Nicole Briones, was talking to The employee who made my coffee they were looking at me. I knew then that they made a mistake. After a few sips, I got up and walked up to your Barista and told her that they didn't do as I say on how I want my coffee. Your barista said she'll just make a fresh cup, which goes to say that she knew she made a mistake. I am angry right now because my blood test tomorrow will greatly impacted by your employee's mistake & dishonesty.

For a drink i get the iced mocha it's too sweet for me so I moved on to getting iced Thai tea. It's great! Prices for drinks are really good and affordable. Definitely been on a budget since going out to study can be expensive...especially if you stress eat. I always see people order their Yogurt with toppings so I had to try it for myself. It's so refreshing! I love it with strawberries but sometimes run out so I have it with the strawberry jam. But when they put it in the cup they leave an empty space in the middle so it's kinda said when you go in for a bit but you see air...gets? Haha. They could improve on that. If you need the wifi just ask for the password. They also have outlets to charge your things. It hasn't been hard to find a place to sit here. It is two floors with lots of seating inside and outside. Also, people usually go in and out to just buy donuts. They have everything you need to study long hours. Their CR is out of order right now but when it was working it was clean. Ah love this place. I get so much done!
