While they're not a grocery store by any means, it's nice that they have some essentials available for ease of access. I went to the back, where I waited for a moment before being helped by a woman. She let me know all meat is cut same day and gave me an idea of the stores layout with where I could find different meats. They were more expensive than the grocery store, but I've been satisfied with the meat I've tried so far. Spent $22 on two NY Strip Steaks and felt they were really good albeit a bit more expensive! The store may be simple aesthetically, but the staff was helpful (especially Stephanie at the front counter who was particularly friendly). I think I'd make the effort to come back here again after my experience this week and get why the locals love this shop.

The store always smells of sour meat, and the produce is the worst I have ever seen in a store. They literally keep brown bananas on the rack instead of reduce them, and the other fruit/veggies aren't much better. Oh yeah! They only gave me 10% rate and even less when I returned to the states 2 hours later. I understand they are in business to make profits but this was a ripoff. I believe they commonly do this when they know local banks are closed and customers have no other alternatives. Yesterday I saw that circle K has introduced that stone paper game and I won that for multiple times. I went there and that night staff was rude with me. I felt like he is going to pay for my prize to circle K and really it was very bas experience ever. He is very good with native but not for international although the staff if from another country.
