Remarkable zoo, very unlike American zoos. Would absolutely go here if your cruise stops in Kristiansand. Just take a cab or even the train. Do NOT take the Hop on hop off bus. Get there early in the day and spend a lot of time there. read more

The place to go with kids. It is as much fun in the winter as summer, maybe even better in the winter since it won't be that crowded. The food servings inside the park are the usual fast food suspects with no eatable quality to it. Make sure you catch the feeding of the lions and tigers... read more
