This place has nothing local that would make for a special keepsake after visiting the area. It is a housewares store that carries Tyler Candles (from East Texas), pajamas- nothing representative of the local area, soap- again not local, and overpriced houseware items such as a huge mermaid tail and wine glasses. The store is big but the merchandise does not fill up the store. We really wanted to spend money on something and couldn't find one thing that served our purpose for stopping. The items offered are similar to HomeGoods or Marshall's, at least very similar in look but with an price tag that didn't match the quality. A stop here with your family hoping to find local artisan souvenir items will leave you disappointed. This store lacks an authentic offering that represents the area.

I will say that it can be a bit expensive, but when you consider the fact that the majority of what they sell is handmade, it isn't unreasonable or unexpected. I called this place on a weekday -- mid-morning -- and asked the owner "Can you do miracles?" The thing is, my wife needed a pick-me-up after several weeks of working her tail off at her job and taking care of her family. I told the florist that the bouquet was her choice and to please brighten my wife's week. (I did mention that I don't care for baby's breath or status.) Mission accomplished. Beautiful bouquet. Delivered in a timely manner. Wonderful communication. I've found my florist!
