Bakery experience was terrible. Ordered a custom cake online, a soccer cake. Got a call one hour before we were to pickup saying they don't have the decor and it would be an hour late. They said they had part of it. We picked up the cake and it was the worst looking cake I've ever seen. I could have done better myself with zero experience. I landed at this Kroger location by accident, sort of. Was running errands & shopping was the last stop. Mapped the nearest Kroger & Voila! (Sunday before Thanksgiving, late AM). Bathroom first, around from the NICE in-store Starbucks. Bathroom was big & pretty nice. Love this store from the min I walked in. Clean, organized... kept going & was greeted by staff who stopped, looked up & asked how I was doing & if I needed help finding anything. Y'all, my heart skipped a beat! Nobody fake or angry, just genuine community hello's. This store is stocked, organized, clean, friendly- Ducula area. I don't come out this way, so I can't honestly tell you which specific location this is- I think it posts automatically since I checked in?! It took 15 mins to get home so I believe I found my new weekly shopping spot! Get your Kroger Plus card- daily/weekly specials to save you a bunch! I thought I was spending $300 & it ended up (after specials & plus card discounts) just over $200! Niiiiice! AND, with the plus card you save $$ at the pumps. Had the worst experience at Kroger today 1) their workers kept walking in front of me to grab items and pushing my cart out of the way. 2) won't take coupons at the register after handing them to them. They ring you up then saying oh I'm sorry I forgot and tell you to go stand in another 30 minute line at customer service. 3) you go to customer service ask for the store manager some other person comes up and tells you that they can call the store manager. What kind of customer service is it? If they don't even do what they say they're going to do. They don't take the customer first. Kroger's needs to get their act together because we have a lot of options in the area. This store is always so nasty. The shelves are 1/2 empty and the other products being strewn all over the place. It looks as if a tornado came through the store. Bunch of young kids walking around not doing anything when the could be straightening the store and products where it wouldn't look so nasty. read more

Not sure why this place is getting knocked around but they have the best cheese selection and a person that manages it that knows everything about cheese and several departments have experts available. I'm in flowery branch and love my Kroger but I come here when I'm in the area, because they are bigger have a bigger selection, but they also have the cheese bar olives, great produce, but the staff is unbelievable. I've always been helped and found what I needed when I couldn't find it and it's right at the corner of 124 and gravel Springs so super convenient. It's my definite number two spot based on my location and I highly recommend.!!! I know I give a lot of five stars, but they given me no reason to drop a star. read more

I visited this Kroger to pick up some chicken on my way home the lady at the counter refused to give me chicken out of the wearier. She said the chicken was just packaged and it the same. The time was approximately 3 pm. I didn't want the prepackaged I wanted mine from the warmer. So I left there and went to the Kroger in Dacula. They have no problem honoring my requests. Don't go to the Kroger in Braselton it's old and looks out of date. Or to mention the people are not friendly. read more

We use this Kroger all the time, but Summer, the cashier I checked out with today, was so unbelievably rude. She clearly did not want to be there. I've been shopping at the Kroger on Braselton for years, it always seemed bright and comfortable, lately that's changed. I don't know if there's new management, or the old management isn't concerned but the store is on a downward spiral, aisles are crowded and in disarray, products are difficult to find, things just feel...stuffy and they even began placing items on the cooler doors blocking view of the products you're actually looking for...employees are abundant in the aisles, but when you go to checkout you're lucky if they have one checkout station open. They have installed self-checkouts stands, 12 I believe, that many times are obnoxious with their incessant "place the item in the bagging area" announcements which became tiring so figured it's best to let the checkout person do their job and quit using self-checkouts. Today around noon no checker, and the bagging person there told me to use self-checkout!?! So yes that was the last straw, next they'll be asking me to stock shelves too, nope, so bye bye Kroger, I'll be shopping Publix now. read more

This is the worst kroger. Most of the time they are out of stuff. Now they only have one check out open because we are expected to scan our own groceries. No thank you kroger. If I have a few items fine but not my weekly shopping full of produce. I'm done and typically spend 1000 a month. I'm spreading the word too. I've tried countless times to give this Kroger a second, third, fourth chance. But every time I go for the simplest thing, they don't have it and I waste my time. There are two different places milk is located, they keep organic segregated from the other milk so you end up walking around with no idea where it's hidden. It seems the grab and go lunch meat/cheese cooler is no longer an option. The floors are always covered in filth, the parking lot covered in trash, carts with the previous users discarded coupons/cart wipe/napkin. There is always someone parked in front of the entrance "waiting" for someone. I believe an older man was assaulted at this location for saying something to someone parked in the no parking zone. So basically, it's a ghetto Kroger. The majority of the staff I have encountered have been rude and of little assistance. I don't think customer service is a concern for management and it shows. I guess covid has taken away customer service skills. I've never not been greeted in a Kroger by a cashier. No hello no have a good day nothing . I went in looking for Ben and Jerry's slices ice cream- they had none. My husband wanted the non dairy Ben and Jerry's and I assumed they didn't have it bc it wasn't with the rest of the Ben and Jerry's but as I walked away they had another section - a non dairy section and I found it there. I didn't realize there was another section to the ice cream. I'm used to most stores having all the brands in the same place. I'm glad I saw it but I wonder how many people missed it. Horrible service! Workers in the Deli Department do not acknowledge presence of customers! How difficult is it to say, "Hi! Do you need help?" or "Can I help you?" There are no signs as to where to fall in line for service. There is no way for a customer to get a ticket number for service either. The workers stare at you and continue doing whatever they're doing behind the counter! Customers that arrive later get helped ahead of those that have been there earlier! Kroger Management has to step up their customer service training for their employees!!! I started coming to this grocery store more often because I noticed that employees patiently walk you to the aisle where you need to buy something. Went to Dacula Kroger today to buy skin milk in the middle of the afternoon. Of course they didn't have any skin milk on the shelf. I asked several of their associates if they can get someone to check the back to see if they had any skin milk. All three associates told me that if it isn't on the shelf we don't have any. As far as I am concerned this store isn't managed properly. Many times the shelfs are empty of the items I am looking for. Also they have an issue with the attitude of their sale associates. I know at Publix if I asked one of their associates for something, if they couldn't help me they would find someone who could. I have also has experiences where their food spoils before the date on the package. I bought shrimp cocktail just before Christmas that was spoiled several days before the due date and recent I bought salad with an expiration date of 2/11 which was spoiled on 2/8. I been a Kroger shopper all my life since I grew up in Cincinnati which is Kroger's home town. With the decline of service and I might have to switch to Publix. read more

I love Kroger Stores, I have been in many with excellent management. The Dacula Kroger is NOT one with good management. We have been shopping here since it opened and over the past 2-3 years they have truly let it slip. Shelves are never stocked, they are constantly out of the basics like milk, OJ, half and half, etc. We have taken pictures weekend after weekend and showed the manager and Kroger corporate and nobody cares. read more

Kroger is always a go to for late night runs or for quick grocery shopping. The staff seems friendly and there is deals at times going on which is great. Only thing is there should be more cashiers when it gets busy since at times they have only one cashier. read more

Great customer service! Called to see if an item was in stock and the young woman who answered the phone cheerfully went to check herself to see if they had the item in stock. It was a pleasant surprise to talk with someone who seemed genuinely happy to offer assistance. Once at the store all employees were kind and helpful. This used to be one of my favorite place to go to but after my interaction with the Lead Emma, I will not be going back. She needs to be fired. She has horrible customer service, I asked her a question on where something is and she rolled her eyes at me and gave me an attitude. She went back on her phone after I asked her a question. My experience with this store has been a harrowing one. Over the years I have shopped there I have been overcharged or not charged the price advertised. Countless times I have spent hours in Customer service rectifying the issue. Most recently I have been using the Clicklist pick up service. This has been a nightmare. I received spoiled strawberries on at least two occasions. The last two visits this summer I received strawberries loaded with gnats and rotten berries. I have spent the last three weeks combating these bugs in every room in my home including in the refrigerator. Yes, the fridge !!!!! The are laying eggs even in the fridge. I have set traps on all three floors. We spent two nights in a hotel and cannot cook in the kitchen. I sprayed bleach in the sink, sprayed on my windows where they congregate at sundown, vacuumed them up and even invested in a fly swatter. I have NEVER experienced this disgusting nightmare in my life. I called the store the morning after I purchased the 6 two pound containers and reported it to the manager. I also purchased four bags of "fresh" spinach with no "sell by" date. There were wet black leaves inside which smelled the whole bag up. We threw them all out. I have been labeled a problematic customer by the staff. The Clicklist manager told me to come in store to pick out my own produce. After I reported this the following day she told me someone would call me back the next day. No one ever called back. I have since trapped and or killed at least two to three hundred gnats in my home. I spoke with several other customers who have experienced similar issues. I needed a couple of slabs of ribs. My buddy said Kroger has the best deals on ribs! What he didn't tell me was they were fatty and vaccum sealed in blood if you wanted spare ribs and the baby backs and st. Louis cuts were frozen! Never seen that in a grocery store. So I had to go to my old faithful store where the meat is washed and packaged cost a little more buy looked appealing. read more

Stopped in tonight to grab some dinner & a few things for the week, normal Monday night stuff. These folks were excellent! I was offered assistance on 4 separate occasions- 2 associates in the store, the guy handling self check out scanned my water for me so I didn't have to pick it up & the cart guy took my cart before I could even look for a cart return! After reading the reviews (just to see if others felt the same) about Kroger on Braselton highway. Well let me start off saying that any of the reviews stating how clean the store is or friendly staff... maybe happened by a mere chance! This is by far the worst Kroger I have ever been in! The store is dirty, employees look unmotivated and uninterested. The entire shopping experience is horrible! They seldom have enough registers open during peak times and NEVER has a manager (if this store has a manager) offered to open another register or try and help resolve issues that slow down movement at all. So bad that I did self check out with several others during THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS holiday shopping! And no assistance there either! Still with only 2 register running at 6pm.... come on now... anybody would no somebody doesn't know anything about managing food industry doing that. Then by the time you finally reach one of the 3 cashiers... you are hit with the routine script thrown at you regarding taking the survey!! WHY? Not that good guys! And disgruntled people don't want to hear your pitch EVERY TIME THEY are forced into coming there to shop! I could go on and on but I can't believe it would help! Because I would tell of being sick from chicken they served me on 3 separate occasions where it made me and family very sick! Rotisserie chicken was covered in pool of blood and a long way to go to be cooked when I brought home after work. As soon as it was cut open it bled ! Prior visit box of baked chicken I bought was so dry it looked like toothpicks! Manager special ... don't trust it either. Chicken smelled funny and had all of us in the bathroom and stomach cramps immediately after eating it! BAD BAD BAD BAD. One star since no choice for NONE! read more

The staff could be more helpful. The store could certainly be cleaner. The fresh products like meat, seafood, produce and deli are not so fresh in my experience. The prices are pretty good. And I do like the beer selection. I prefer the newer Kroger in Dacula to this one. And I like Publix even more. read more
